Very soft and easy to work with. Nice warm white color. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good natural color. Makes a nice border for any blanket. Good value. One pound goes a long way.

This is the first time working with this. Overall, it knits up nicely and is easy to work with. You most definitely get one heck of a bang for your buck with this yarn! It feels like the skien will never end. Like an Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going and going and going...

The never ending skien.. Caron One Pound Yarn!

I gave the yarn 4 stars because sometime the yarn is pieced together. Also I recently purchased a pound that the thickness was inconsistent with the other pound I was using so I was unable to use it. Otherwise I do like Caron yarn. Also the choice of colors.

When I bought this yarn, I was not expecting it to be ad big as it is but definitely the best yarn I have ever bought and I have been crocheting for 6 years now.

As an added bonus, the yarn is soft to the touch definitely good for a blanket which is what I am using this yarn for. A Beauty and the Beast C2C blanket

I will definitely be buying more of this yarn!

Best Yarn ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This yarn meets my needs and expectations for crocheted lap blankets for charity. It creates a thick and soft item and the large skeins, when combined, allow for multiple finished items. Being machine washable and dryable is also a wonderful quality for charity purposes.

Great yarn!

I lo e working with Caron yarn. Is it very soft but it is easy to work with and comfortable to make gidts to give. I love the softness and as far as i know, it has never lost its luster or softness with is the best part of this wonderful yarn. I wish i had a room ful of every color and enough room in that same room for more of Caron yarns in evry shade carried!

WONDERFUL YARN

As a beginner crocheter on a budget, I think this yarn is wonderful. I purchased 8 skeins for my temperature blanket project and every skein had a center pull, has beautiful stitch definition and is easy on your fingers. I would definitely purchase this yarn again and again.

Great for beginners

I would love to give this 5 stars, but the color I love (Dove) is discontinued and probably won’t be around much longer to my knowledge. Thankfully I was able to snag one more ball and finish my project which I was over the moon about, especially because the brand’s website was the only retailer selling the color I wanted individually. Other than that, if you’re looking for a bulk acrylic yarn for a really nice price then this is definitely for you. Not to mention it becomes so soft when you wash it too!

Only Small Complaints, Overall Worth It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy yarn with a slight halo.  Consistent color across different lot numbers.  With a little planning, this yarn is great for wearables.   A key step is to steam block the finished garment to bring needed drape and to even out stitches.  

Also, Contrary to what many are saying, I do NOT believe that this is the same yarn as Michael's Soft Classique.   They knit up and appear similar, but after blocking, they feel quite different. 

I highly recommend this yarn.

An inexpensive, workhorse yarn

bought 2 separate skeins. 1 was so thick I could hardly crochet it. The other was so thin as to be unusable. very dissatisfied with Caron yarn.  Will contiinue use  only Red Heart.
