However, bought 9 month size for my 7.5 month old and they are snug on her tummy. She is average size for her age in terms of weight so I was surprised how tight the waistline is. I'd recommend sizing up (and hopefully the waistline is larger in the next size up).

Granted she may be bigger than others her age but 6month leggings on a 7 week old being a little tight?! She is 13lbs and a very healthy eater but I hate that they are that tight on her belly. Just make sure to size up and expect them to be long.
