My boat is in an outside storage lot right now, and after the first rain it had a pool of water in the cover that took a long time to get the water off.  I gotta say I am so proud of myself as a single girl to set this up by myself.  The directions are somewhat helpful but really you can figure it out without them.  The poles took a little to figure out as the directions were really useless with those and I did not use all the poles.   
It would be so much easier with two people but I did this myself as a single female, so you can do it too.  I just checked it after we had rain and it was still intact!  Simple but good product.  The first pic is before the rain and the second one is after.

Doing its job

Once I figured out the directions it was fairly simple to set up.  Directions need to be a lot clearer.  Seems to work fine I have not had much rain ,but it is holding the cover up just fine.  I have a large bow rail and placing the system over the rail helps keep the cover up.

Universal fit

We live in michigan so get a lot of rain and humid weather..we ordered this along with a new cover to keep the cover taught and keep the water from pooling and eventually rotting the cover..it was complicated to initially figure out but once we did it was just a matter of tightening and figuring out how high to raise the center pole..the front loop that wraps around the bow seems a little sloppy but it still works..too much work to be used every time we cover but for extended periods we will use it..

A simple strap system

The center support pole broke after only a few uses, but my husband did something with it to make it usable. It's a decent system overall.
