I have an old portable dishwasher, these tabs are the only ones that don't leave powder residue on my dishes.  The best!

It also cleans then spotlessly. Baked on pasta dishes have come out sparkling. With my other dish pods it always took 2 or 3 washes to get that. Amazing!

Amazing! Spotless!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I think Cascade ActionPacs are fantastic because I don't have to worry about pre-rinsing my dishes. Even dishes that are in the dishwasher for a while before getting cleaned come out sparkling clean. I have 16 month old twins and a 4 year old so live is pretty busy. I forgot about our spaghetti sauce covered dishes one night, so I had high hopes for Cascade when I finally remembered to turn on the dishwasher. I wasn't disappointed! What would have taken a long soak and wash by my regular dishwashing detergent was no problem for Cascade Platinum. So nice to have a few extra minutes to spend with my kids instead of pre-washing dishes!

Cascade Platinum ActionPacs - Time saver!

So I tried using the Cascade packs to wash my very dirty dishes that I didn't even rinse - knives covered with peanut butter, a rice cooker pot with rice stuck all over it, plates covered with thick gravy. Lo and behold, everything came out clean - not even a speck of dried-on leftover food bits. I was very impressed!

Amazing product

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've always struggled with the decision of whether to prewash my dishes or just put them directly into the dishwasher. My usual decision is to give them a quick prewash before putting them into the dishwasher because it's usually a day or two before it is full enough to run a full cycle.

I decided to put the new Cascade Platinum ActionPacs to the ultimate test. I cooked some Singapore Curry Noodles, Pasta and had Chicken Fingers with ketchup over a period of two days. I didn't prewash the dishes, I simply placed them into the dishwasher when I was done and forgot about them. To be honest, I was fully expecting to have to handwash them after I put them through the wash cycles. I figured that the food would be truly baked on.

I opened the dishwasher to a load of clean dishes. I was really amazed. I ran my hand along one of the plates and didn't feel any residue at all.

I can not speak for the chemicals that may or may not be in the ActionPacs, so I made sure that they were rinsed well during the cycle. They worked much better than my traditional brand so I wanted to be sure that none of the agents used in it were lingering around on my dishes.

The Cascade Platinum ActionPacs are little superhero's in my dishwasher. There is no need for prewashing even the nastiest dishes, simply place them in the dishwasher and forget about them until it's time to put them away again. The ActionPacs save me time and energy. Time and energy that is better spent on my children over the summer vacation!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was skeptical in the first place, I had tried cascade in the past, with less than satisfying results. But I thought maybe they had improved to keep up with their competition.. Sorry cascade you have a long wAy to go! It was frustrating to open up my dishwasher only to see over 1/2 my dishes had caked on food.. I will be running through again with my finish detergent and that's what I will stick with.
Sorry but I have to be honest, I don't suggest anyone spend their money on cascade, unless you don't mind washing dishes after they've been washed ð
