Personally, I didn't like this cover because when I put it on my phone, it sits too high compared to the edge of the cover. This means that if I drop my phone, the side of the case won't properly protect the screen. Since I work outdoors, that makes me worry about potential screen damage. That's the main reason I wasn't satisfied with it.

I purchased a new case mate case for my iPhone XS Max, the first case it had 2 pieces. The interior piece broke the 2nd time i hato to remove the case (less than a week), without that interior part the outer part didn't fit my phone anymore, i made the warranty claim and Case mate sent me a different case which i have been using it for 2 weeks and now the otter protector layer is peeling off of the new one… maybe is time to look a a new company because the quality that this company used to represent is not here anymore.
