The tail doesn't go the entire lenth of a papertowel roll, only about half way. It's adorable, and still functions as a paper towel holder. If the ad showed this, I would have reconsidered it. The shipping was too expensive, since it was an item from an affiliate online store, so I will be keeping it.

smaller than expected

While it is cute, there is absolutely no way to use it as a paper towel holder. The towels sit all crooked and look ridiculous. I am using it as a door weight instead.
