Quality

Smoother shifting and great protection.
Though expensive at $27 each (though sooo much cheaper than having some garage do it), I did a fluid exchange with 3 of these in my 2012 Camry SE that had 118,000 miles on the original fluid. Gear shifts weren't bad before, but it's very noticeably better after the exchange.

Smoother shifting and great protection.

Superior quality ATF for older automatic transmissions. Currently using Castrol Transmax in a 1993 Dodge A518 automatic overdrive transmission which was rescued from a salvage yard. Changed filter and gasket and installed the Castrol Transmax. Over a period of 4 weeks the transmission's performance has greatly increased and shifts very positively and smoothly.

Superior ATF for Older Transmissions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honda transmissions require frequent changes, which can be crazy expensive using honda fluid. This is the way I can afford to maintain my van because of inflation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this in my old 1st gen Dakota, had a hard 1-2 shift and after a 1 gallon drain and fill it has smoothed out. Have used Castrol in other older cars and they are still are still running, good stuff

good stuff

excellent product..Castrol speaks Quality in all their products..will buy again.!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product - improved performance of 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport with over 173,000 miles on it - original transmission.

Superior Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't used yet, but very pleased about the fast shipment and the overall great reviews for the product.

I've always trusted Castrol Products, but now I have my first Honda... Evidently you can't dump the transmission fluid, or back flush... The Honda recommended way to keep the fluid fresh is to dump a gallon at a time basically 1/3rd of the total, and do it for 3 months, when required... understanding reductive math, it doesn't make me feel good, so I simply (the drain plug is right up front) empty the gallon every 4 months regardless of the schedule, some say it's a waste, but adding a fresh 1/3rd every 4 months makes more sense than reducing the buildup every few years... I usually buy it on sale, but this regular price is lower than "on-sale" prices...

Permanent Source For Me Now
