Great Trans fluid 07 Accord 213,000 miles no problems

I use all Honda fluids in my '05 and '06 Accords except the Castrol Transmax. I've used it from 30k miles until present; 170k miles. Both cars have always shifted fine, and neither has had any problems.

CASTROL TRANSMAX IMPORT MULTI VEHICLE ATF, 946 ML

My consistent and trusted go to for quality trans fluid in my Toyota. Used it for many years with no problems.

Great Price - Great Quality

I have been using Catrol to my both of 98 Toyota Camry and Sienna for more than ten years. My cars keep running very well.

A high quailty transmission fluid

This ATF meets the specs for a wide variety of import vehicle transmissions. I use it in RX300 but it is also good for Kia and Hyundai Diamond-III fluid, which in the past was available only from dealers at $10 per bottle. Wal-mart price is the best, too bad not all stores carry it.

Excellent fluid, best price

The simple truth is you can't go wrong or be faulted for using the expensive vehicle manufacturers ATF fluid. However, in my case, I do a complete change of my cars ATF fluid at least once a year, or a drain and fill with every fourth oil change. Admittedly I'm over servicing my transmissions, but all of my cars are high mileage ( 200K+), and working fine. The number one enemy of a transmission is excess heat. It degrades the fluid and ultimately shortens the transmissions life. Installing an extra transmission cooler, and keeping the fluid fresh will help extend the life of the transmission. I'm using Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle in my 07 Honda Accord, and Honda ATF in my 06 Honda Odyssey. The car running the Castrol fluid shifts a little smoother than the Honda fluid. Other than that I haven't observed any other performance differences. The Castrol fluid is about 1/3 the cost of the OEM fluid, so if you're budget conscious it is a good alternative to OEM ATF, in my opinion. Regardless of which choice you make, OEM or non-OEM, change your ATF fluid at least every 50K. That includes transmissions with 'lifetime' fluid. Search YouTube for the Scotty Kilmer "Should You Change Your Car's Transmission Fluid?". Scotty Kilmer is a great source for automotive advice.

OEM ATF or non-OEM ATF, that is the question.

Dang IT! I wish me and my 09 Honda Civic had known about this option 50k miles ago. I could have been saving myself 4+ bucks a quart the last 3 trans drain & fills. This stuff works just as well (if not better) than the GENuWINE!! Honda DWI or Z1 (what ever!) transmission fluid. As has been attested to by other reviewers. Great Stuff!!

Better Late Than Never, I Reckon

I used it on my VW 2002 Passat with a ZF auto transmission which calls for $25/qt dealer fluid. So far i put 30K on it. Works fine and no issues at all.

One of my friend used it on 2004 BMW 325i auto transmission and had put 15K on it. Works fine.

Don't know if it will last like 80-100K of dealer fluid. But with a 60K fluid change, it should be fine.

Best fluid for the VW ZF transmission

I used this to replace the tranny fluid in my 2005 Toyota Sienna. It took about 4.7 quarts. Toyota claims you do not have to replace the transmission fluid under "normal" conditions, but our Sienna has pulled a loaded pop up camper more than 8000 miles across this beautiful country of ours. When I drained it, the old fluid looked like iced tea, whereas this new fluid was bright red. Don't know if it is a placebo effect, but I think the vehicle shifts smoother now. If you have a Sienna it also takes a 10 mm hex to remove the plug and an aluminum compression washer available at your Toyota dealer that costs about 2.50. While my walmart carried this product, it was not on the shelves in the store. I ended up ordering online, then picking it up at my local walmart. Who knows where they store it.

Economical alternative to Toyota Dealership's

TOO EXPENSIVE, I was forced to give ONE STAR. I give 0 ZERO.
