Quality

I really like this shelf. It's solid wood as advertised. The assembly was not difficult, but I DID have to refer to the pics online to understand which way the shelf edge needed to face. Other than that, assembly was a cinch, and I did it all by myself. I put together two of these in roughly 30 minutes. I DID have to use a hammer to bang the little wood pegs in a bit, and when I did that SOME of the black paint came off of some of the pegs, so be careful about that. I happened to have a black wax pencil that is designed for furniture, so I used that to fill in the chipped areas. There was also an issue with one of the shelves not lining up in the very top and I could NOT get the screw in on one side no matter HOW HARD I tried. However, it didn't affect the overall look of the shelves, so I just tightened everything else down as best I could. There were a few flaws here and there, but I am still very satisfied with the overall quality for the price. I am currently using them in my home office and they add just the right amount of style and functionality.

This arrived one week early even with Labor Day falling in between business days! It looks exactly as it does in pictures and it was easy to build, it took about 20 minutes!

Gave my Husbands Man Cave and really nice touch.

Great product!

This bookcase shipped abnormally fast, received it within two days of purchase! It is smaller than I expected (my fault for not reading the description well enough). It looks good but is a little flimsy. I intended to put heavier items on it but it will not work for that. It does allow you to attach it to the wall for extra stability, but because I like to move things around I don't want to do that. If you are looking for a generic, low priced shelf, this will meet your needs. I would have rather spent a little more money to get a larger and sturdier unit though, but I am happy enough with it to keep it and use it for other things. It looks pretty in my home office!

Very nice easy to put together however one of the back boards was warped...but still worked...

I like it

The Bookshelf itself is just as pictured and good quality. I would've given it a five star if not for the fact that the instructions for building it were very vague so I had to guess on most of it. Also, the smell from the stain or paint used is very strong. I had to place on my patio to air it out for a bit after building it.

I was very much hoping this would be awesome. And when I first opened package I was pleasantly surprised. HOWEVER, when I started putting it together there were so many issues! Screw holes didn't line up, the pretty x-design on the side was barely attached (one section came loose entirely). The top board won't even securely stay on because the screw holes are so very off that when one side is screwed in the screw hole on the other side didn't even line up with the board at all. THE ONLY thing that can save this is gorilla GLUE. But that's of course if you never want to move or carry it.  Plus there were scratches, but at least those were mostly not on the front and very visible. Only good if the backside won't be visible (ie, no room separation option).
