Within 1 week my 2 cats had 1/2 of the sisal rope off the cardboard tube.   Also, as they scratch the sisal rope, it flakes of in millions of little pieces, thus requiring sweeping on a daily basis.   I won't buy this one again.

please beware! if you purchase anything like this with a toy hanging from it cut it off.  I just found my new kitten screaming for help cause she had the string wrapped around her neck.  I barely got to her in time and cut her free.  very bad idea.
