I was using regular tidy cats multicat, since that was used in the shelter where I adopted my cat. When I saw that there was a lightweight version, I decided to try it.  My cat accepted the change with no problems.  This is not dust-free, but no more dust than the litter I was using.  The clumps seem to hold together better than the previous stuff.  And it appears that a bucket of the light weight litter will last as long as a bucket of the heavier stuff.

I had seen this on sale and thought I'd try it. Has a slight scent, not overwhelming and the Cats seem to like it. I usually get the light-WEIGHT Free and Clear
but they don't carry it at my Club.

I have five cats and have tried many many brands and types of cat litter. Pricy but so easy to scoop all my cat boxes. I would be worn out struggling to scoop with other brands and types. I will buy nothing else.

So far this has been the best cat litter I have used. It's long lasting without all the Oder, and my cats swam to like it too! I have a bad back, and this stuff isn't heavy at all. I can carry two full boxes at one time from the car to the house with no issues at all.

I have three cats. The house is a ranch with a basement and ground level.   I have 4 litter boxes - so cleaning and changing out all the boxes is a chore (especially the basement boxes).  So I decided to change to this light litter (corned that it would be too expensive or not work as well).  It is more expensive.  But I would say it's worth the additional expense.  You don't use any more of the light kind than the regular.  It clumps well and is also low dust.  My cats didn't really notice a difference.  And it is MUCH lighter.  Even with it being used/clumped it is much lighter.   In the past I used regular tidy cat.  Then I switched to arm and hammer slide (for no dust option).  Always wanted to try the Tidycat light weight.  And glad I did.  Wish it was cheaper - but the quality and lightness outweighs the additional cost.  It's worth it.

Something is different about this litter the last two times I have purchased it. It is darker, doesn't absorb liquid, and most of all DOES NOT CONTROL ODOR EVEN THE FIRST DAY! The cat's paws and sinuses are irritated. My entire house smells like cat urine. There is nothing to indicate on the packaging they've changed the contents but with current manufacturing standards how can anyone know what the problem is?? I am out over $50 on useless cat litter.

Something has changed!

The formula changevwith the color ofbthe cart container.. the 24/7 lightweight low dusty, one that came in the white box with a red lid i have bought for yests.  My cat refuses to use the new versionsthat in a gray container. It's thicker it's darker in color.
