[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Wilson EZ Gear 2.0 catcher's kit is exactly what our team needed.  The size S/M fits smaller kids 8 and under, does a great job protecting them and, just like the name says, it's EZ on and off.

My kid loves this set. He is 4' 4” weighs 62 pounds and we ordered the larger size. That definitely was the right choice.

Looks great! Fits great!

My 9 year old played his first tournament with this set last weekend. We are very impressed with how much lighter this set is than his last, especially the leg gear.  It's also much easier for him to get on and off.

Much lighter!

My son love's to play catcher, but the park district's gear is usually pretty run down and the fit is hit or miss. We decided to get this for his 10th birthday and were pleasantly surprised by the fit and the quality. The box it comes in is even top notch. This fits him very well head to toe and everything is easily adjustable and easy to get on and off.

Nice Catcher's Set for the price

My 8 year old loves this kit. So easy for him to get on and off by himself in between innings, and the helmet is super comfortable and he can rip it off with ease. 

There are some durability issues with the metal straps that hold the face mask onto the helmet, and one of the plastic foot pieces has came off his leg guards. But we reached out to Wilson directly and they are replacing the complete set since it is still under warranty.

Great youth catchers set

Good set. Solid. It is NOT white at all. More of a beige or gray. For a beginning set or mid level. I would say YES

11 y/o 5 2 110pds boy loves it all except that it isn't white but a very light grey color. It's stiff but in time will get comfy. And adjusting to the new style hockey like mask instead of old school curve mask.

Gear is pretty decent quality, however we bought it for our 9 year old that is 4'10” and weighs about 100lbs. Unfortunately the only thing from the L/XL kit that fits him is the helmet…chest protector is to short as well as the shin guards. Thankfully our daughter plays softball so the gear will be given to her…just unfortunate that we will now have to buy another set that will fit him.

Too small for my 9 year old.

I was torn between giving this set 2 and 3 stars and that is because of the price point. This is a very affordable entry level set of gear for a youth catcher. it was a Christmas gift from "Santa" and that morning my son received it, he was stoked and the gear looked and fit him great(4' 4" 75 lbs). Sadly, the elves didn't seem to take pride in the name of the Wilson brand. The problem has been the durability of every piece. Within his first season of being a part time catcher, the clips holding the mask on the helmet broke. They are embarrassingly thin and weak metal. I solved this problem by replacing them with items from a hardware store. The elastic of the straps on both the chest protector and shin guards deteriorated fast. After about 20 games of use, the velcro became useless and unable to hold. I have had to do some sewing and gluing just to keep the gear in service as I have been trying to buy time for this coming Christmas. I will not buy the same set as I am looking to upgrade in quality for something that will at least last a year before needing to be replaced. We play year round in league and tournament play and this gear just can't hold up to that and I would look at it as a disposable set good for one recreational season.
