I was selected by Butterly to try Catelli PROTEIN  Rotini as part of this campaign, and I used it in a one-pot family dinner alongside Catelli Classic Rotini for a blind taste test at home.

The PROTEIN  version stood out for its flavour and texture — my daughter actually preferred it because she felt it had more flavour and a slightly firmer bite. We also noticed that it didn't expand as much during cooking, which helped it hold its shape better in a one-pot meal and kept the final dish from feeling too heavy.

From a cooking perspective, the pasta cooked evenly, absorbed the sauce well, and maintained a nice texture without becoming overly soft. The added protein is a great bonus for busy weeknight meals when you want something filling while still keeping the recipe simple.

Overall, Catelli PROTEIN  Rotini worked really well in our family dinner rotation and is a great option when you want classic pasta comfort with a little extra substance.

Great for one pot meals

This is a great way to add more protein to the diet and also replace carbs with protein. But I love the most is that you don't even realize that the pasta is the protein version and not the regular version. Easy to cook taste great, and is healthy. Love that it is non gmo.

I created my own recipe to put the pasta because what I have is cabbage, eggs and ground beef soup. I add the pasta and put some white sauce on it. Taste is okay but I love how it has protein on it since I'm trying to eat healthy. I'll get this in the future.

I love adding greens like spinach, broccoli, and edamame, plus a bit of fresh cheese for creaminess. I was honestly suprised that there was little to know difference in the taste, texture and flavour between these two pastas, besides the size of the protein  noodle is a tad smaller than the regular rotini.
Both made with wholesome, all natural ingredients. And to top it all off, Catelli Pasta is 100% all Canadian!

I really enjoyed this free sample of Catelli pasta I received in exchange for my honest review. The noodles have the perfect consistency for Alfredo! The rotini comparison between the regular pasta and the protein enriched version was so much fun to try. I was completely surprised by how good the protein version is! This pasta is such a good way to get protein and fibre into my kids and myself. The best part is, no one can tell the difference! Which is such a win when it comes to picky toddlers. The best pasta healthy alternative

TASTY LIKE HEAVEN!

I tried the Catelli Protein Rotini and I'm honestly so impressed. The most amazing part? I genuinely could not taste a difference between the regular pasta and the protein version and that's huge! The flavor and texture are just as delicious and satisfying.

It cooks perfectly al dente, holds its shape beautifully, and the spirals grab onto sauce so well that every bite is packed with flavor. I love that I can boost my protein intake without sacrificing taste or texture at all.

This is such an easy swap for anyone who wants a little extra protein while still enjoying their favorite pasta dishes. Definitely a new staple in my pantry!
