The Catit® PIXI™ Smart 6-meal Feeder enables you to feed your cat up to 6 varied meals per day, fully adapted to their feeding pattern. Simply load the tray with healthy portions of your cat’s preferred selection of dry food, wet food or treats, and the feeder will serve their daily meals as scheduled in the free Catit® PIXI™ app. Schedule when each individual meal is served using the free Catit® PIXI™ mobile app. There are 6 trays, but you determine the number of meals and amount of food that goes in. We use these feeders for feeding our cats their raw food. We se them up when we know we aren't going to be home in time to feed them at their exact dinner time or even if we plan on going out before their feeding time, they have saved us from having to leave the functions so early!

Great for raw!

CATIT(R)

Cannot find a better one and it is the best so far. It comes with wifi, can be controlled remotely, can scheduled at exactly time, instead of counting down timer. Could be improved: please adding day option in schedule so I can skip a day for new feeding. Also I purchased two but they are randomly operate in 1 second difference, hope it could be sync up.

Overall it is the best in market

I got this automatic feeder dispenser for my cat with renal disease. It's imperative that she keeps her weight steady. My work schedule was too erratic to feed her on a regular schedule. It's easy to setup, clean, and schedule feedings. And, you can share the controls with other people. My only qualm is, that the feeding bowl depth is too low. I do think that their needs to be individual bowls in the spots, so the whole unit doesn't have to be disassembled, and the food can be raised up a bit, so there isn't whisker fatigue. Also, the timing for feedings is in 24 hour, not 12 (I'm American) so that's a little confusing, but can't hate Catit for that.

I have 2 of these for my cats. It does it's job well, haven't had any issues with it not working at feed time. My cats eat out of it great, and are learning what the beep means as it rotates a new meal out.

A few things I would like to see improved:
1. The ice packs get "lumps" when frozen for "too long" which is annoying. Can be fixed by running that spot under warm water, but not ideal
2. Wish there was a metal feed tray option
3. Wish the trays were just a little bigger for my large kitties faces

Does it's job

I just had a full test of two feeders for my two cats during a weekend getaway, the result is very successful. Before the full test, the feeders were used to deliver morning (small) meals to my cats for training purposes. Overall, the machines and the app do what they suppose to do well and reliably. However, there're more they can do. For example, the app do not have an option of pairing multiple feeders; hence, I have to schedule the meal times for each feeder separately. Although the control page for each feeder allows users to access a PIXI Smart Camera, the feeder is not really paired with a particular camera. (Each of my feeder has a Smart Camera to check which cat is eating. ) I bet such pairing exists in the PIXI Vision Smart Feeder. (I considered getting this model, but I simly don't like the idea of my cats keep eating from the same bowl for multiple meals. ) Another thing about the feeder is that it is a 6-meal feeder but only deliver 5 timed meals. I have no issue about this but, as a mathematician, those numbers from 1 to 6 on the tray and app are better labelled as 0 to 5. Finally, I would pay if Catit sells paper/plastic liners for putting into each meal tray. Washing the whole 6-meal tray is quite inconvenient due to its size. As each of my feeder only delivers two meals daily, washing the whole tray is an unnecessary burden to me.

Practical feeder

I really like the automatic wet food feeder. I have 2 for my 2 cats and it works great! The only reason it is not perfect for me is because the plate is plastic. My cats get a lot of chin acne because of it and I just wish the plate was stainless steel. I also have the pixi catit fountain and I am planning to buy the stainless steel replacement top part. I wish there was a stainless steel insert plate for this feeder too! But it is a very important thing for me and thats why I give it only 3 stars, but it really is the only reason its not 100% perfect.

Love that she can get her breakfast early without us getting up. Hate that the wifi sucks so we cannot use our phone so difficult to program and modify

Wish the wifi was better

Ma première machine a duré moins d'un an, l'écran ne fonctionnait plus et ne voulait plus tourner les repas. Je décide d'en racheter une autre identique, car je me dis que ça peut être une malchance. Encore moins d'un an après, ma machine brise à nouveau et la machine ne tourne plus ses repas. Mon chat a manqué deux repas et ma machine me disait qu'il avait eu ses repas, très ordinaire. Deux machines en moins de deux ans, je constate que la machine a une durée de vie très courte et je vais aller chez un compétiteur. Surtout à ce prix, c'est décevant car c'est une machine intéressante
