The Catit Senses Mushroom is a unique, fast-paced feather toy that keeps your cat engaged from all angles. Its built-in sensors pick up on your cat’s movements, triggering the feather to pop out of a random opening, starting the chase. The Catit Senses Mushroom features 8 openings – 4 on the underside of the mushroom cap and 4 at the top – through which a feather will pop out at random, triggering your cat to hunt from all directions. The suspense, the excitement, and the fast-paced thrill of the hunt all join together seamlessly with the Catit Senses Mushroom. Thanks to its 2 built-in light sensors, the Catit Senses Mushroom can detect your cat’s presence. When a change in brightness is registered, the feather will start randomly popping out of the openings covering the toy, stimulating your cat to try and catch their feathery prey.

I've had this toy for about a month and my cats remain fully and wholly obsessed with it - which is unprecedented, as they're generally quick to lose interest in a toy. Well-made and has withstood the abuse of a VERY energetic kitten. Highly recommended!

Worth every penny!

CATIT(R)

I have a deaf cat, and I find it extremely hard finding a toy that interests him, but this mushroom does grab his attention. Obviously, with him being deaf, I have to point him in the direction of the toy when it is on since he can't hear it. My hearing cat has no interest in it, but she always seems to sense when I buy a toy for my deaf cat as she seems to leave those toys alone. It is extremely hard, finding a toy for a deaf cat since most of them rely on them hearing Toys to draw their attention to them.

Finally, a toy my deaf cat likes to play with.

My kitten absolutely loves this toy. He can spend 15-20 minutes at a time trying to catch the feather. It's very entertaining and engaging toy. Recommend highly!

Great toy!

My cats enjoyed the mushroom and trying to catch the feather. At first I was worried it would be like a laser pointer with no satisfaction of actually catching the prey, but they were able to get the feather and pull it out was seemed ok at first. Then, it went missing! Since it is such a small piece with rubber on it, I was worried a cat would eat it and cause a foreign body obstruction. So, unfortunately I returned the mushroom out of caution. :( The toy seems like a good idea but not super safe in practice.

My cats liked it, but feather kept going missing. . .

Je suis déçu du produit qui fonctionne à pile. Mes chats l'adorent les piles ne durent pas longtemps même avec les piles rechargeables. J'aurais aimé qu'il soit rechargeable avec câble usb cmieux pour l'environnement

Déception

Its quite loud. I saw it on display at catcon. I think the noise at catcon must have drowned out the noise from the toy. I did not expect it to be so loud. My foster kittens are afraid of it. I like the idea and concept. But I wish it were quieter.

Loud

My Cats all LOVE it but I didn't read the specs of the product to know it's batty operated. Which is too bad, as even with on with motion, the batteries were dead in 3 days. That gets expensive!! LMK when an updated rechargeable option is available.

Batteries boooooo

Paul

My cat loves this toy. I have it set to go on when it senses motion. However, last night he pulled the entire feather and plastic plug out. I caught him when he was eating it; there's a red stub and the white plastic plug. I'll attach a photo. Maybe there wasn't much to eat? I'm hoping that's the case!
Very engaging game, but is there a way to better attach the feather so cats can't dislodge/pull the entire part from the mushroom? (This was the original feather. )
I don't want to discourage people from buying this toy. This could be a rare occurrence.
Thanks!

My cat removed and ate the feather

This product was non functional. I could hear a faint noise, as a feather or something was trying to move, but nothing came out of any hole. I tried 3 different sets of batteries. I had seen this toy work before and my cat went crazy with it! So, I returned it to the store. Not available in store. I lost my $15 off a $75 online order in the process.
