We bought this cart because we no longer have a long bar where we can chop veggies. It is high like a countertop and sturdy. The color is reddish brown not a bright painted red. I love that I can display my stainless pots and bowls on the shelves. The drawer is a little flimsy but great for my knives and a couple of dish towels. The top is not oil finished but is thick and has large surface. I will use a cutting board on top. I love that it has wheels so I can move it by the stove when cooking or out of the kitchen completely. We are considering buying another one for an outdoor kitchen area.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this kitchen cart.  I have been looking for a long time for just the right size and look.  I found this one and was a little nervous about what it would be like because of the price point.  I am extremely happy with it. The finish is beautiful, it's got some weight to it, so it doesn't roll easily even if you don't lock the wheels when you are working.  It was very easy to put together and all the parts where included.  One of the locking wheels broke when putting it on, I called the number on the instructions. The customer service was fantastic, sent me out replacement wheels, I got them within 3 days.  Very pleased with the cart and company that made it.

Absolutely love this cart.

I love the cart. The color is great. It's not some cheap cart. It's a nice well priced cart. Easy to put together. Well the top was a little hard but nothing major.

The only thing I don't like about the cart is it rolls around when trying to cut on it. I have locked the 2 wheels but it still wiggles. May have to find something to replace the wheels.

This kitchen island is absolutely beautiful, very sturdy, easily assembled, and of superior quality. I checked numerous other sources for this particular cart (both online and physical stores), which matches my kitchen cabinets perfectly and is exactly the correct width, and Walmart beat all other prices by $50. I am delighted with this purchase!

Excellent Value for Quality Product!

We had very limited counter space in our camper. This cart was exactly what I had in mind. Am very impressed with the quality and was easy to assemble. The finish even matches the woodwork. Very pleased!

Excellent choice

It is a top notch quality product, all be it that the casters slide on a tile kitchen floor. Recommend that they be made of soft rubber and that all four be locked in place.

The last of the really good deals left.

My husband put this together in approx 45 min. His only 2 complaints were: the holes in the butcher block didn't quite line up, but he was able to make it work and even though it tells what steps you have to follow...do the drawer 1st and then put the butcher block on.
I didn't want the wheels, so I didn't have him put them on.
Don't put nothing heavy in the drawer. It's a bit on the thin side.
But it looks nice and otherwise it's a sturdy little cart

Charming Addition to My Kitchen

I needed to have more counter space as I have a small kitchen. I loved the color and shape of this cart. The butcher block is thick and heavy and I really love it. As far as putting this together out of the box, I really didn't have too many problems. I did it in about 2 1/2 hours and I'm a 61 year old woman. But what helped was to read as many reviews as I could and follow their advice. Why I rated this a 4 has more to do with what I thought I was getting, but I obviously didn't read all the specifications as well as I did the reviews. One problem is that the cart doesn't feel as sturdy as I would have liked as my main reason for purchasing it was to use it for kneading dough. The caster locks don't really work that well. Eventually I may have to take them off, but I like the idea of moving the cart around to where I need it. Also, I now realize that I should have purchased a larger cart. At the time of purchase I didn't pay as much attention to size specifications for what I wanted to use it for. My bad.

Also, since this purchase I have noticed some other kitchen carts that are bigger for less money. But by no means do I regret my purchase. This is a very beautiful, handy and functional piece of furniture. I do love it! Just be sure when you purchase that you know what you are going to use it for and determine if it suits your needs.

A little difficult to assemble as the instructions weren't very clear. Other than that this is a great piece for the price. The color is more of a brown and not red like pictured. Goes really well with my kitchen.

Very nice for the price

This was fairly easy to put together as I did it myself in about an hour.  The only problem I have is the wheels are supposed to lock and they don't. I removed the wheels because after putting it together I just didn't feel like returning it. Very pretty, just shaky and easily moved with the wheels not locking.

Sturdy if you don't need the wheels
