The pots themselves are very nice- that is, the pot that survived the trip. The 2 containers were shipped in a box only as big as the biggest pot and only protected by 2 loose pieces of cardboard. For any amount of money for a planting container made of concrete, I would expect that they would have enough space for big bubbled bubble wrap or other means of protecting the product on all sides. Its sad that this was not even a consideration sense these were a gift to my mother.
