hello I'm not unfamiliar with cooking cooking fine dining hotels and restaurants and things but this little machine can't be turned on to preheat so it's not like a electric skillet it has to have food in it first and then it's like a steam machine it immediately gets super hot like steamer and so I'm learning about things of I made some things in it but I got to read about it and learn how to make other stuff but I do like it and it wipes that nice and clean I'm not used to having a pan and you can't stick in the water and wash it in the bottom is open it's electricity all the electric stuff and cut myself twice getting ready to do stuff in some soapy water and wash it like a pan that's a big no no so just remember you wipe it out you know soapy sponge or something and then clean sponge but you do not immerse it at all ever but I like it and I got the big one and it's nice size and I like the big thing on top with holes so you can steam vegetables or I could pasta but my pasta up high and have my pasta sauce down under. and the prices like a fifth of what some other ones so the other ones do a little bit fancier stuff like almost the oil was it called oil is fryers or whatever dry fryers I'm wondering if this does that like if you put a drop of oil in it and does it dry I just have to read about it and see but very happy and happy end of the prices something affordable if you can people can afford everybody can't afford every apparatus over $100.

this pot warms up in like 2 seconds. I just used it for soup for starters and it boiled it with like and within 4 minutes so do I recommend it Yes I do very simple to clean you just basically have to wipe it out just like a Teflon pan. I definitely recommend it and it would be great for travel cuz that's what I'm using it for!

this product is excellent non-stick wipes clean cooked New York strip steak medium rare in about 3-4 minutes cheese omelet slid out no mess well worth the price

I love this pot!!! My favorite is cooking 1 pot meals and this pot works great for that. That was my reason for buying the larger size pot. My last recipe was instant brown rice with onions, mini peppers, black beans and string carrots with eggs dropped on top. It was delicious! AND I didn't heat up the kitchen. You have to have everything ready because it does cook fast, but I don't mind the prep. It's the clean up I am not a big fan of, and this pot solves that problem with easy clean up. Be careful when you clean it because there are holes on the bottom and it's electric so you can't let any water get in there. I can't wait for winter so I can make some soup. I would highly recommend this pot to anyone considering the purchase. 2 thumbs up!

Ceramax Electric Cooker is Great for 1 pot Meals!

The quick consistent heating amazes me every time. It's cool on the outside, hot on the inside and the handle on the lid really helps me to pick it up in a way that doesn't burn my hand from the escaping steam. It's a great value for the money and we use it a lot!

Cool outside/Hot inside %26 Great Value

This pot gets to boiling temp in less than 2 minutes but it does not get so hot on the outside that you (if touched it accidentally) would get burned. It has "high" and "low" which is perfect for anything, and it's a breeze to clean--can't immerse it, so I just a swipe with the soapy sponge and give it a quick rinse holding the handle out of water. It's not heavy at all, and I love the color, the lid handle, the steam release hole on the lid, and the wire can be shaped if you wanted to put it in a drawer.

The perfect pot

This pot is do easy to use and clean. Its nonstick surface cleans easily and works well, the pot fits with the rest of my cookware easily. It frees up a burner on the stovetop and takes less energy than the stovetop.

Cons: one must be careful washing it to keep water away from the openings in the bottom.
The vent hole in the lid is a steam hazard.

Ceramix larger one is still not that large. Just used it to scramble a few eggs. Perfect and not hot on the outside. Easy to clean. Very impressed!! Gets hot quick. Love it comes with a steamer also. Thank you Walmart:)

Quick heat, perfect for a limited kitchen:)

Temperature only has two choices and I like slow cooking. I love the steam basket it's perfect for steaming vegetables and tamales. Overall I'm glad that I got and at a fair price. Thank you.

Kitchen Aide Super Pot

The first time I used this Ceramax electric pot after cooking it left a stain ring inside the pot after cleaning it with Dawn dish soap. It did not remove the stain entirely after scrubbing the pot. The ceramic interior lining of the pot I think is inferior and not scratch proof as the instruction manual indicated. The pot handle will get warm and eventually hot. I recommend the use of a towel or glove when handling the pot handle. I do not think the designer/creator of this electric pot thought it though thoroughly when decided to place this pot on the market. At the high price sold on the market it should be a much more quality made item. The pot is manufactured mainly of plastic. Lastly, it does not have an automatic shut off if in the event the pot is left on inadvertently when not it use or if it gets too hot!

Not that great
