As someone with sensitive skin, I am sometimes afraid to branch out with skincare/facial products, but after purchasing and trying this Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, I am glad I tested this product! It truly is gentle, and leaves my skin soft and cleansed with no negative reactions to my skin! This product came highly recommended by my dermatologist and now I can’t help but praise and recommend it to everyone as well! You won’t regret adding this to your shower or skincare routine.

Soft and Gentle on the skin!

I have severe Atopic Dermatitis and this has helped me so much    I use no soaps but this cleanser whatsoever ever    The great thing about this is I wash my face gently   Use Vaseline on my eyes to remove and mascara  then I can leave on the extra for a moisturizer without rinsing my skin so I let it absorb and use a medicated cream to moisturize

I’ve used 3 different Cetaphil cleansers, but the Dry to Normal sensitive one has been the most helpful with my rosacea.  
I cleanse twice daily, and love how it is gentle with no-suds. I highly recommend it!

Cetaphil, a Win for Rosacea

I love this product.  I have very sensitive skin.  Recently I used a product that dried my skin to the degree of peeling.  This was suggested to me to help rebuild my skin barrier.   I was apprehensive because I typically only use a very specific soap  and I did not want the change to make my skin worse.  The very first time I used this, I was still a bit hesitant.  2 weeks of using this and I will not use anything else on my face.  Its so gentle.  Does not lather but feels like silk and it def calms redness and irritation.  I have not experienced any hives or allergic reactions.  I believe it helps my hands as well bcz they look and feel better after washing my face.

Really is for sensitive skin

I have been using these products for 2 decades for a reason . A little goes a long way so it’s way worth the price ! The scent is light and refreshing and the consistency isnt watery or super thick . It glides on perfect and deep cleans line no other !

20 years!

This was a substitute product for the generic Walmart brand and it wasn't any better at almost double the cost. Additionally the pump top fell apart when I went to open it. Thankfully I had a spare pump top.

I have used Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser for years and recently had to replace a bottle that was getting low. I don't know what they did. It used to be nearly scent free and now it smells absolutely rancid. It cleaned and left my skin feeling soft and ready for moisturizer and makeup but I can't get past the smell. I sniffed another bottle at a different store, same issue.  I ended up returning it and switching to a different brand.

Longtime user, smells awful now

If I could give this a zero, I would. I have never been so disappointed in a company for changing a perfect product.The original formula gentle skin cleanser worked great, was non-irritating, and took off makeup beautifully without drying skin. I work as a dermatology physician assistant and recommended it multiple times per day.  The new cleaner leaves a film, causes rashes and acne and stings the eyes. Give us a choice of the old product- the original formula was around for so many years because it was great! So sad!

It feels more like a light lotion when you put it on your face.  It also doesn’t remove all your makeup…leaving mascara and foundation.  I use an astringent after and wipe off a ton of makeup after washing my face with it.  I can see how it is hydrating but it is not cleansing.  I hate to look at the bottle multiple times to make sure it was a cleanser.
