Ratings & Reviews+

Chamberlain 5603634 Garage Keyless Door Entry Keypad is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flawed design I've had my outside wall mounted remote for about ten years and it's given me fits mainly from the buttons getting stuck in the basil of the pad and when that happens the battery goes dead in pretty short order. I've tried several different silicone lubes to try to keep them freed up but often when my wife uses the touch pad one of the buttons will stick and she doesn't realize it which happened today. We'd gone for a walk around the neighborhood and had locked all of the doors depending on entering the house via the garage but the month old battery was dead and we were locked out but luckily we had a hidden key. The pad needs to have flush mounted buttons.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really poor design Like other reviewers point out, the keys are super squishy and get stuck under the bezel. We keep replacing these units and rather than being improved, they just get worse.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from key pad 940ESTD stop working in the 3rd year I purchased Chamberlain garage door opener in late 2013; all (opener, remotes, wireless/internet connectivity, phone app) still work fine; the wall mounted key pad though, could not make it thru the third winter; in the extreme cold the buttons simply stick or do NOT make proper contact inside, causing battery failure and/or inability to open the door and frustration of being locked out!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not last long The keyless remote failed after three seasons as others have stated. I'm not confident that the a replacement opener will work faultless

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Looks like the number "two" is sticking. My last garage keypad outlasted the the door opener, it was a Stanley product. Since I purchase the Chamberlain, the first battery lasted at least 8 years. Last year l was locked out of my home in below zero temperature because the battery or the keypad failed. Now just this week, I am having problems with the keypad opening the door, just about a year after replacing the battery. Just replaced the battery and the keypad still won't open the door. What is up with that? Also, the lights work when they want to. I have also replaced the lights. I am very dissapointed in the Chamberlain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not waste your money, do not buy this This 2nd generation keyless keypad is the biggest pain to reprogram. We have these on several rental properties in a A+ rated community but when the Tenant turn-over they all want a new code, which makes sense for security purposes. But yeah right, try programming a new code in this is the biggest pain. We have several of these now on rentals that we do not know what the code is and cannot reprogram. Do not waste your money, you will be so frustrated. The previous version was amazing and easily allowed reprogamming of new 4 digit codes, like a dream.
