I use the parallel kit with my new 5500 and my 3600 Champion generators to get my 50 amps as needed for my TT works awesome

Champion makes a wonderful generator .

I have camped a lot both on and off grid, with age and occasional back problems a full size generator for my new travel trailer would be too heavy for me alone. I opted for 2 2500's with the 50-Amp Parallel Kit. Runs everything that I need. Set up is simple and with the inverters weighing only 39 lbs each. I have no problem loading or unloading. Run time is greatly increased with the duel fuel propane option.

Back saver!

recently purchased Champion 100319 Para/Link kit for my two 4650 remote start generators which are great gen sets. I plan on installing 2nd A/C unit in my 5th wheel so I will need 50 amp service when I am booning it out West in triple digit temps, This Para/Link kit impressed me on how well built it is and how easy it is to work. The only flaw I see it has is there are no covers over the receptacles or breakers other than that it is worth buying.

Champion Para/Link

I bought two inverter generators to use individually most of the time. I thought that there might occasions when I could use the together so that is why I bought the parallel kit. I have run both generators together to test them and everything seems to work as promised. So far so good.

I have owed one for about 6 years; left it with my son. Just purchased a new one for my 2 new 5500 inverters. Anticipate flawless performance like the last. Now waiting for an excuse to start up both inverters and run them in parallel to power my home in the next blackout.

My second parallel kit.

This parallel kit works well to connect two Champion 2500 inverter generators. It sits on the ground between our two generators. It would be nice if it could be stored snugly on top of one of the generators (why I marked it down one star). We used it to connect both generators so we could run the air conditioning unit on our RV.

It works

This is exactly what I needed now I can run my 50-amp travel trailer without trying to load a 100 + lbs. generator. I use my 2 4500-watt generators. it is so easy to set this up it is just a plug and play. One thing I would like to see would be an easier way to connect the ground connection (thumb screw, or wing nut included) to allow you to install the ground without any tools required.

Parallel kit

The parallel kit is well made, does what it's supposed to do, and is straightforward to set up. Although advertised on their website as the "best fit" for the Champion 100478 2000w inverter generator, there is plenty of room for improvement. Without a doubt this parallel kit was not designed with this generator in mind. The clamping system to secure the panel, "sort of" clamps to the handle of the generator, but the clamp is much longer than the handle on the generator so it cannot be properly locked in place. It also lacks a 20a 120vac which would be much more useful in this application than the 50a 120vac outlet which is installed. This parallel kit is the weak link in the design of the 2000w portables. Champion really needs to design a kit that optimizes the capabilities of their line of suitcase style generators.

Does What It's Supposed to Do

It came to me with the 30 amp twist lock plug not able to accept the plug.. They sent me another plug outlet to replace it with but no instructions on the procedure to replace it... Yes it was an easy fix however if someone is not comfortable dealing with electrical stuff I think that this would not go over well.. All in all there quality control should have picked this issue up when checking unit..
