I recently purchased two dual fuel 2000 watt champion generators. I also purchased the twinning kit so I can power my 30 amp RV in the summertime. I find the generators to be reasonably Quiet and efficient. I find that I have enough power to use all my appliances except the microwave when the air conditioner is running but that is a small inconvenience for the efficiency and low noise level of these generators. I really love the fact that because I use these generators with propane I can store the generators right inside the camper or truck without any gasoline fumes. Best of all, in the cooler months when I don't use air-conditioning I can leave one generator at home. I also purchased a propane splitter so I can run two generators off one 30 lb propane tank which got me through the night and more. The only downside is that the generators are not weatherproof and should be covered which I accomplished with four long garden stakes, some bungees and some 1 inch urethane board! The urethane also helps to further deaden the already quiet generators! Be sure to exhaust the generators out the back of the enclosure.

Hey! It's easy to spot a champion, well, by color for sure and more seriously by performance. Being a die- hard Honda product owner for many years having a cool inventory of four generators, one lawnmower, one pressure washer however innovation had me paying so much more attention to Champion's products. Straight from the factory it had dual fuel, easy start dial, brilliant digital display indicating load and fuel status, pop up gas refill light and three full time led display lights for night time maneuver, gas lock off on the gas cap and scheduled maintenance indicator. Now that's a whole universe of improvement for me and checking in at a far cheaper cost just blew my mind. How do they do it? This unit runs flawlessly quite producing the cleanest power for my sensitive equipments with crazy run time even having the potential for parallel connectivity. When it come down to basics and the truth is being told, I'm totally satisfied with my purchase and if you were looking to see me standing with the red team well, I'm proudly forever going yellow with " THE CHAMPION !!!" P.S. Now folks just call me YELLOW....

Living on the coast, we need a reliable source of power when storms strike. Our new Champion 2000-Watt Dual Fuel Inverter does the job, providing power for our electronics, TV, refrigerator and lights. We use the propane option that burns clean and stores easily.

Tried to get a Honda, all sold out. Thought it was time to try something new, and this thing works great! Far less expensive, dual fuel, fired up first pull on propane, no issues. Will buy more soon.

I like the idea of using propane to eliminate carb issues and gasoline smell as I plan to store it in my tow vehicle when not in use to minimize opportunity for theft.

Purchased this generator for off-grid and off-power situations. To date, the unit has operated effectively and easily. Room for improvement includes the addition of change out oil with unit when purchased and a means to determine how long the generator has to operate when running on LPG. The liquid fuel is easy to track; however, the LPG is not. Also, I would recommend increasing the generated wattage rating to 2,200 watts as a base, so that it can be compared to similar to generating units Overall, I am pleased with the unit.

No Modifications Needed

The description says it will work right out of the box, just provide fuel. That is not the case. The machine is shipped without oil in it or with a can of oil to add to it. Now, I need to run to the store and buy some oil so I can use the machine that is suppose to be able to run right out of the box. I'll provide an update on how it works once I get it up and running.

Misleading - it doesn't work right out of the box

I have had the generator for over 2 years and it always runs.I use it when I camp off-grid in my RV.

Loved all the specs, and if I could get it started it would probably be just fine. But out of the box it's dead, and tech support couldn't help. Need to take it to a repair shop and it hasn't even started one time. Not one second.
