I have not used the stopwatches for the intent in which I purchased yet, but they seem sturdy and reliable as I tried to set them up before use.  In doing so, I found the instructions lacking.  It tells you how to set up the alarm, but not how to disable as I found that I accidently set an alarm that goes off and that I now do not know how to disable.  Not only that, but I found it unclear on how to switch back and forth through the functions.
