I loved it and when the outside part just quit working, I decided to buy a complete new unit because of its age!  They're wonderful and you can plan your clothing because of its accuracy!  I highly recommend them!!!

I was replacing the AcuRite indoor/outdoor thermometer in one my sunrooms where I store plants for the winter. I made sure it was the same brand since it was probably 20 years or older. I highly recommend the AcuRite brand.

9/16
1 week before the 1 year warranty is up the outside unit stopped working. After trying the simple things like new batteries and resynching, I decided it was time to contact acurite to see how to get a replacement, under warranty of course. I called first on a Weds afternoon (only available M-F 8-5) and I was put in a que at position 27! After about 15 mins on hold my spot in the que had not changed, so I took advantage of the offer to leave my callback number and they would call me when my turn in the que was up. Well by the time I went to bed I hadn't gotten a call back. So Thursday morning I made sure to call right at 8 am and I was already 17th in the que! I was on hold for 90 minutes and had only moved to spot 14 in the que!! I again tried leaving my callback number, and again, never heard back.
The only way to contact is by telephone and I just do not have the time to wait for hours on hold. I will never again waste my money on not only a product of poor quality, but a company who doesn't stand behind their product. Do not buy this piece of junk or anything else from this company.

Seems to work ok so far. Easy to sync the two units. My biggest gripe and the reason for 3 star rating is the screen is not very bright and makes it hard to see in our living room. I'm not an eighty year old with failing vision either. We had a digital thermometer by a different company and the screen was much easier to read. The picture on Amazon is misleading. It's almost like there is not enough contrast between the back and the numbers. The background is dark and so are the numbers.

Update:
So after a few months with this I have noticed that once in a while the indoor temp. reading will get "stuck" and not change at all. Usually lasts about 8-10 hours before it corrects itself. I can tell because I have another thermometer in the room and that one works fine. Pretty annoying. I can not recommend this product, too many other options that seem to work better.
