I was pleased to find this perfume for a reasonable price. It arrived quickly and the aroma of the perfume is just as I remembered it from my younger days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the Chantilly I have used for years.  The smell is totally  different. Not the same at all, big disappointment

It seems that my beloved Chatilly has gone the way of many of the classic Avon frangrances. It has been reformulated and loaded with a cheap, soapy smell. Back in the day, when it was produced by Houbigant Chantilly was worth it's weight in gold-sweet, understated and a little spicy, but I recently purchased a new bottle and the first thing I noticed was the difference in frangrance. It smells like guest soaps in a seashell dish. I also noticed the lable was slapped on the bottle crooked and was peeling off. So I looked at the box, which said "new look, same fragrance" and realized the manufacturer was "Dana." This new version is passable, but I wouldn't pay any more for it that I would for some of the "imposter" fragrances that cost 1/4 as much.
