SOME OF THE BEST OUT THERE FOR THE $$. THIS IS MY 4TH OR 5TH CHARBROIL GRILL. THEY GOT A LOT OF USE FROM OUR FAMILY!!

CHARBROIL HONEST REVIEW

Charbroil

I bought this grill years ago and love it. The only reason I'm replacing it is I've burned a hole through the bottom from all the usage this thing gets. I don't understand the negative reviews at all. Mine has been solid, still rolls well, and cooks the best steaks I've ever grilled. The only issues I have with it have been caused by my overusing it, not any kind of construction issues.

Nothing but good things to say

Char-Broil, LLC

Just bought it on sale for a great price! Took awhile to put together by myself, 62 year old woman, but it's packaged great with awesome instructions and very sturdy! I love all the features and can't believe the negative reviews. Maybe they never read the instructions on troubleshooting etc. Or maybe didn't put it together properly. Lol whatever! I love it and it's very well built!

Great barbecue and we'll built!

Happy with this BBQ. Works as expected and arrived early. I've only used it a few times but so far so good.

Satisfied

Works well I with propane. I need orifices' size so I can change over to natural gas.

gas grill

Alex

Grill was easy to assemble, but all the grates were broken. Would be 5 star if the grates were not broken.

Easy Assembly But Broken Grates

Dustin

I bought this to replace a CharBroil I bought in 2016. I did replace many parts but with a hole on the bottom it was ti e for a new one. Assembly was pretty easy. Only one screw left over. Lights on knobs for show. They do nothing but make it look fancy.
I was very disappointed in the quality of the materials. Very flimsy. I was surprised to see how thin the cover was. It actually wobbles/bends when you open it. Also had a dent in it, despite being packed well.
It does look nice, but very cheap. I'd return it but I needed it that night and did cook on it.
CharBroil, you are getting cheap. I now own a disposable grill.

Looks nice, but cheap.

I waited a year to review this product. It does not heat evenly, hotter in the front, always flaming up, cold in the back. If you fill the whole grill with meat, you will be struggling.
Frame has wheels but is not built well enough to be moved. I've moved it 3 times in a year and now it doesn't stand straight and I'm afraid to move it. Frame is cheap and crap.
The side burn is recessed and not big enough for most pots and pans, cannot use the side burner.
After 1 year, I'm yet again looking for a new grill. I'll never buy a Char Broil again. Don't waste your time, money or food

pile of crap, don't waste your money or food

Eric W.

I owned a Char Broil model 463268008 for 10+ years. It was a great grill.
I purchased this grill in Dec. 2024 with the expectations that it would at least be as good as the grill I purchased previously. I'm am quite disappointed with the quality of this grill. From the top down compared to my previous Char Broil: The stainless steel is a lesser grade. My magnetic temperature probe adheres to the stainless. The handles attach directly to the firebox and get hot when cooking. Previous model had then attached to casting on the sides of the firebox. The gaps between grates are about 5/8in. prior grill were about 3/8in. The large gaps allow for food the fall through. The heat tents are about 1in. compared to 2.5in. The smaller heat tents do not distributed the heat adequately. The side burner lid does not have rubber stops. This causes a loud noise when closing. The back is open which allows supplies to slide out the back. The doors are flimsy and pop open when rolling the grill. The previous grill had solid backs on the doors. The castors protrude past the bottom shelf and create a trip hazard. The previous model had the castors recessed and shielded by a metal skirt around bottom shelf. The cotter pins securing the burner tubes become red/orange hot when cooking as they are directly at the tips of the flames. This does not seem correct. Lastly, the igniter does not ignite the side burn. I have not received response from Char Broil.

Sorely Disappointed

Bought a month ago, frame flimsy steel and bent right out of box, casters didnt lock at all, directions for assembly weren't helpful as illustrations were poor and confusing. I should have bought a Weber.
l

Cheaply built, nightmare to assemble, what a waste
