It is larger than I expected.  I measured several times, debated over sizes.  It is probably much larger than I need, but it will handle my needs and then some.  I cooked up a large dish the other week and had to cook it in batches in my 8 qt pot.  That was a pain.  I have a 20 qt All-Clad and that is really too tall for the stovetop and I do not have paddle to go with it.  I wanted a low, wide pot.  I am considering a smaller size for everyday use. It has a nice finish and I love that it is lightweight.  I am over cast iron and can't handle heavy pots anymore.
