Worked wonderful heat up Quick like it said protective band around the top much better quality for $10 more than the last one I had and I’m very happy with this one. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to buy an electric kettle. It only cost $30 works great.

This is the family kettle that we use when we have a bunch of different drinks to make, like movie night when we make cappuccino for the adults and hot chocolate for the kids. Others in the household use it for heating water for ramen, etc. Good multi-purpose kettle. 

It's a little slow, but the kettle is huge, so the trade off isn't a bother. It's sturdy and easy to use. I do not use the infuser since some of my teas, like the Puerh, tend to have a lingering smell and taste, but it's easy to pop in and out. I infuse in-cup using strainers and loose leaf. 

I have no major complaints about this kettle. It does its job without a ridiculously long wait.

Great kettle

Large Glass body. Easy Removable, reusable, center silver metal mesh tubular cylinder (for loose tea or tea bags or coffee grounds) easy one  twist on / off attaches under lid.  Optional Use with or with out cylinder. Lid manually pulls up/ off holding top center lid knob. Sturdy. Has a good seal. Silver is Metal. Black is Plastic. Pour spout is plastic. Nice pour. No drip. Has a small, mesh reusable filter at the base of the spout opening.(Small Filter is Easy to remove, clean, replace or not use at all.) Electric round Black Plastic base. Does Not get hot on the bottom that touches the counter surfaces.  (GOOD THING) Therfore does not damage counte top surfaces. 2 0rong electric cord is a good length and flexible for a kitchen appliance. Winds easy and stays around base. Theeasy one flip up on switch is located under the handle base. Lights up when on. Atomatic shut off when boiled or if pot goes dry. Great safety feature. The top of the Base has Tiny Blue LED lights all around. When turned on to boil water, the glass bowl lights up the entire Glass kettle. lights-up Blue. It's beautiful. Especially with the boiling bubbles in the water. It like decoration.  Hold 1.8 litters (the one I chose)of water. More than others I've had. Naturally, a Full pot of water will take a few seconds longer, to reach maximum boiling temperatures. 
If you only need one cup and in a hurry adjust the amount of water added. Happy purchase.

I have been struggling for several months with how to quit using tea bags and instead use loose leaf tea to brew a pitcher of iced tea.  Lots of straining involved and then what to do with all the tea leaf remains.  This kettle has really simplified the process.  The removable tea infuser completely eliminated the need to strain the brewed tea.  Then all the wet tea leaves are neatly contained in the infuser and much easier to dispose of.   I am a happy user.

Boil water and steep the tea all in one container

It's changed my life.  I mean how else would u boil water other than a pot.  It's soooo easy and it looks nice.  Worth every penny and it brings it to a boil so quickly

Game Changer

I use this glass kettle daily and love how quick and easy it is to use. It heats water fast for tea, coffee, or anything else, and the sleek glass design looks great on the counter.
I'm giving it 4 stars (instead of 5) only because the loose tea insert in the middle is hard to clean. Otherwise, it's excellent and highly recommended

Great Daily Glass Kettle

Had hope for the chefman high speed boiling tea infused kettle, but my hopes went down hill. First time use could not get the tea infused opened and the water was not hot it was barely warm. On the other hand I do like the spout has a strainer mesh. Good idea but maybe room for a bit of improvement. My opinion is my own and in no way to persuade any one else to buy it and try.

Chefman Power Infusion 1.8L Electric Kettle

I love this brand, and I have one of their kettles from five years ago very sturdy...

But this latest model has a  flaw: the clear plastic on/off switch is extremely brittle. Use with caution. Or you will end up replacing it in a year. 

Will not last.

They don't make them like these used to

I used this for making coffee.  It boiled the water extremely fast but it always left a plastic after taste to the water.

I used distilled water from the bottle.   No taste before boiling.  After boiling it had a plastic taste / scent to it.  I washed the kettle with water and soap multiples times but it never went away.

I think it was coming from the fake metalic cylinder that attaches to the lid.  I I took it out and the scent mostly* disappeared but was still there.   I stopped using it and returned it.  

The appearance was great.  It was super easy to use and it boiled water really fast.  I'm not happy about having to return it as I need to find a replacement.  I would've been the perfect hot water kettle if the plastic taste wasn't there.

It left a plastic after taste to the water

It worked well at first. I bought it Feb 10, 2026. Today is April 19th, 2026 and it has stopped working. I use it mainly for teas of course and to boil my baby’s water for food. I would not recommend.
