My work bench is 12 ft long by 2 ft wide with a diamond plate top. After about 7 years it appears to have tarnished and got very dull. There was absolutely NO reflection in the metal. I tried everything I had around the house to clean it and shine it. Coke, vinegar, citrus cleaner, car polish, MASS metal polish, and even Mothers aluminum polish. Nothing put a dent in it. Last week I ordered the Chemical Guys Heavy Metal Polish and a 6 inch orange microfiber pad. I used my Porter Cable 7424 polisher with the microfiber pad and the polish. The results were amazing. It only took a little over an hour and I only used about an inch worth of the product out of the bottle. Another thing that amazed me was I thought the microfiber pad would have gotten torn apart from the diamond plate, however NOTHING shredded off the pad. The pad looked brand new when I was finished. I can't speak to how this polish works on other metals yet, however if you are looking to bring diamond plate back to its original shine, this is the product for you.

Have multiple toys few boats a couple Harleys an a sandrail ..I like keeping my stuff clean an in great condition..I recently pulled one of my motors out of one of my boats to do a few modifications with I needed to polish a few things like bell housing exhaust logs scoop n water in n out lets..this product did a great job with lil effort...would recommend for sure

Yes I'd buy this again 4 sure

Bought this for the exhaust tips on my wrx, bought the exhaust used and the previous owner never cleaned it and i hadn't cleaned it for about the 10k miles plus whatever the previous owner put on it as well... point it is was very dirty. After following the steps in the video on how to use the polish i was very impressed with the results, and happy to see my exhaust actually clean and shiny, attached is the before and after pics!

Heavy metal polish

Was scared to use this at first on my aftermarket wheels but it works great. Wheels were horrible with stains and not being polished after being bought last year (that was my fault) but after using this my wheels are shining. Just have to upkeep it and get an actual polisher to make it easier for myself

Awesome!

Spent 2 hours polishing out the diamond plate on the front bumper of our fire engine yesterday. By morning the next shift was huddled around staring at the results without me having to point out what I had done. That speaks for itself. The dimaond plate was used and abused and had not bee polished since the mid 90's. Did it take some work? Yes... but the end results were worth it. Don't expect miracles, there were some stains I couldn't get out, but without a heavy abrasive and a rotary polisher you wont get those out anyways. I used a black microfiber pad on an original porter cable 7424 and got great results. Thanks for the great product. This stuff sells itself.

Works as advertised!

Excellent product! Never thought my tailpipes would shine again, after a wash, took some 000 steel wool with soap and water, and then some heavy metal polish and some elbow grease and they're amazing! Thanks Chemical Guys! Keep the awesome products coming!

Great Product!

Just bought a car and the rims had some oxidation that was really noticeable. I was gonna buy new ones but decided to try and polish these first and after a lot of elbow work and sweat the rims were rejuvenated and I couldn't have been any happier. Next to try on my exhaust.

Memorizing to watch

I was skeptical on purchasing this but I'm sooooo happy I did. This thing works awesome. You have to spend a little time on the project. The more time you spend the better the outcome will be. I had rust on all 4 of my rims and I applied this chemical on them. I spent approximately 25 to 30 mins on each tire and I'm very happy with the results. There was a lot of rust on each rim. So I will be applying this chemical on once a week until I can remove as much as possible here is the before and after pic of my rim

Magical

Bought a small bottle to keep my exhaust shiny. It works better than anything I have ever used. As I finished my wife asked if it might work on our expensive German kitchen sink. Went to work on it and it was better than new. The other plus, water just beads up and leaves no spots.

Don't let your wife see it work

If you are a trucker and have chrome you want to easily clean, check out THIS! You don't have to scrub. Wipe on, and wipe off. My son tested this out on a Kenworth's chrome that had never been polished. It was amazing. Period.

A Truckers Best Friend

Watched the video of this product on Chemical Guys Instagram page and it looked impressive so I decided to try it. On stainless steel it was not good at all. I tried it on polished stainless and unpolished stainless with fair to poor results. On aluminum it was not much better. Applied with a terry cloth sponge applicator and a foam ball the results were only average. Being called Heavy Metal Polish I have high hopes it would work well on my trailer wheels and the stainless steel front but I was disappointed. No worries though, I enjoy trying new car care product to try and speed up detailing chores. This product was just a miss for me.
