Birthday gift for a 5-year-old who had knowledge of the toy but didn't have it. she was awe struck that she received it immediately unboxed it and began to use it because of her prior knowledge.

A lot more bang for your buck than expected! Many ways to play after the initial reveal, and refill kits are sold for the "mist" and the creatures. Thoughtfully designed toy, whole family was impressed, not just the 8 year old!

Worth it!

We have this crystal ball and the cauldron. I feel like the cauldron was a better value and had cuter pets. With the crystal ball, you just wave the wand up, down, and side to side repeatedly until it finally reveals the mixie. At least with the cauldron there are different effects, depending on what you add to it. The crystal ball feels repetitive and boring. I would not pay full price if you can avoid it. We've only had it a couple hours and they're already bored. They still play with their cauldrons.

Not worth the price

I was so excited to be giving this as a Christmas gift to my 7 year old daughter but the product came leaking and cannot use.  It is oil based so it got over EVERTHING and made a real mess. The packaging on this needs to be revisited as I have read other reviews about the same complaint. I did not reorder fearing the same thing would happen again.  Luckily Walmart was amazing with the return and is why I gave it 2 starts instead of 1.

Leaking Toy!

Everything worked...except the one thing my child was most excited about... the "mist". 
Replaced batteries, refilled "potion", followed all trouble shooting steps, reset multiple times... even YouTubed the site and went through their videos. 2 hours on Christmas morning trying to get the thing to "mist".... and nothing. 
Trying to set up a return, and the system keeps rejecting it at the end saying "error"... hopefully, I can return in store- because my child was truly entranced by the lights/sounds- and I think she will truly enjoy it,  if we can get a working unit.

Didn't work at all. Tried putting brand new batteries in it (even though it came with batteries) and this at least got it to turn on, but it gave us a low batterie alert with the brand new batteries and wouldn't work.

absolute trash.... all that money and it wont even go past the first stage even after replacing all the batteries... my kid is heartbroken

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and it came leaking and did not work despite trouble shooting. I returned it for a replacement and the same thing happened again! Bad experience from this seller.

Does not work

this thing was horrible! got it for my 10yr old. she couldn't get it to rise. found out batteries were dead and even after replacing it never mist and will not reset itself to try it again.

It worked fine then the next day the interactive plush toy wouldn't stay on. It worked for only a couple hours. Changed the batteries
