I had decided I wanted Roman shades in my new cottage, not realizing how terribly expensive they are! I was very happy to find these at a reasonable price at walmart.com. The magnetic closure is clever. They were easy to hang. Easy to use. They are not "blackout" shades, however, they are thermal and room-darkening. I have ordered two more for other windows.

Great roman shades, reasonable price!

Pros: Easy to install and easy to operate and no strings to jumble up.
Cons: They do not darken a room at all if that's what your looking for. With a corded shade you can open to exactly where you want by pulling the string. With these they have 4 to 5 settings from closed to different degrees of open to all the way open.

I ordered these shades to go in my eat in kitchen and dining room. I was disappointed that you can see the magnets through the white fabric. A couple of the shades were dirty probably because they pack these in a cardboard box but don't wrap them in plastic. The quality of the shade was decent for the price and the nice thing is you can remove the shade from the header strip to clean them. The shade attaches to the header with Velcro. One thing that disappointed me as well is that the shades are actually 1/2" shorter in the width than the stated size. Which was an issue for me.
I had ordered both the 23"x64" and the 27"x64" sizes and both were a 1/2" shorter than the stated
width.
I imagine they do this for those who intend on using an inside mount to mount these shades.

Nice looking. Easy to install. But the best thing is no more ugly cords. the magnetic strips are heavy duty so the blind stays in place!

No Cords!

Happy with appearance. Looks just like picture. Only downside is adjustment of length. Can only be adjusted in about 6-8" increments of length.

The fabric is a lot cheaper than I thought it was going to be, but I do like the magnetic part of it and it looks okay. I'm going to sew fabric onto it so it looks nicer.

Easy

Good quality. I wish they were darker and that the magnets would catch easier. I would prefer strings over magnets. Otherwise it is nice.

Not bad

The installation was easy. I love the way they work. However, more order was for "tan" In the picture it looks like a light tan, when the arrived I discovered that I received 3 camel tan blinds. Which has more of a yellow tinting than other tans. I therefore decided to use them for the basement windows.

The packaging was terrible. Each Roman shade was sent in a separate box approximately 3'x 3' ft. The mailman could not fit the 3 boxes in the truck nor could I. I had to go to the post office to pick up(unpacked and left box there. I might as well of had it delivered to the local store.

Easy to install. Color in picture is despective

Bought three shades. First out of the box had fabric of valance adhered to glue on the top rail that pulled he backing off the fabric when unrolled leaving ugly light leaks. Second one was packed the same, but did not peel off as badly; however, that one was folded in such rumpled fashion that unfolding left breaks in the backing throughout the body of the shade. The material is flimsy and so poorly packaged - just a little tissue or something might have helped to keep it from sticking to itself. The hardware and overall concept are good, but the fabric part is hopelessly cheap. Didn't even bother opening the third one. Will keep the better of the two I opened and return the other two, since I have drilled and installed hardware and need immediate coverage on that window, but I'll have to try to cover the sorry fabric with something to hide the breaks in the backing.

Excellent idea but cheaply made & arrived damaged
