A friend recommended us to try this, because they had a ton of fun with this. So, I thought I'd order it to try.  And we have to agree, it was entertaining just trying it and seeing what you can write or make with it (even though we weren't really good at using the pen).
The plastic trays that is included is awesome for design that are super easy to make (see the little ghost decor that we made)! We will attempt more of these with two colors next!
Note: the softer the chocolate is, the better. We attempted to put in the pink color chocolate into the tray before it was really soft, but when we tried it with brown the first time, it was easy and we had no problem.

I came across this product on Walmart.com and ordered it. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. My kids love the unique and creative product. Highly recommend trying if you have kids.

Simple yet fun and creative product

Christmas present. Hope she likes it. There seem to also be a chocolate refill kit which be a nice gift for the future if she likes it.

This was very cool! We didn't have any problems with the chocolate or the pin once we read the instructions several times... my six-year-old really loved this!

The Chocolate Pen is a lot of fun and great with the kids! The warming dish works well to keep the chocolate melted enough to draw it up into the pen and the molds that came with it are super cute. The chocolate was delicious and hardens well after a short time in the refrigerator.  I gave it 4 stars because I had some problems with the pen dripping and couldn't seem to draw well but I think that may just be that I need to practice more which means more fun.

the pen was broken! the choclate was more complex to make since pen was broken. the choclate wasn't terrible but not great! I wouldn't buy again!

Do NOT recommend

My daughter had been wanting it for a while I finally gave in and bought it for her for Christmas. Once we opened it up we found that the chocolate that was supposed to have been included was not included! I had one disappointed little girl! I bought it directly from Walmart.com

Missing Chocolate

Bought three for three different families...three fails basically. One family couldnt get the white chocolate to soften or melt. All said the pen didn't load enough chocolate to work properly. Two families then used the provided molds and those worked so they felt that it wasnt a total loss. The one whose white chocolate didnt work at all tried the molds and the chocolate stuck and wouldnt come out of the molds....total waste of money.

Big waste of money.

Do Not Purchase.  My 6yr old grand daughter saw this, and being that her mom owns a bakery, i thought it would something for her to do.  the pen never worked properly, and melting tray does not stay hot enough to pull up in the pen.  I am trying my best to find my receipt to take it back.  Even my 6 yr old said it wasnt worth the money.

very dissatisfied with the purchase.  Nothing worked right. Would not recommend this for any one.  would like a refund but the box wasn't saved.
