[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On stripped out %26 bleached hair this product does a good purple -- note: when fading it tended to go more into a pinkish-purple and less violet

good permanent; fades from violet to pinkish-purp

Started  with  3” roots natural level 8 
Midshaft previously red (faded)
And  ends previously bleached blonde. 
I used the Scarlet vivid everlasting with 15 volume developer(equal parts 10 &20)
For the 3” regrowth,  then the regular red vivid semi perm. For the midshaft, blended into the regular vivid semi perm. Violet.  Loved it! Saved time not having to bleach the roots first!  Can't wait to try the other colors.

Some of these comments and how these people are saying all these bad things about Pravana Everlasting is kind of hurting my feelings because I am strictly a Pravana person and I use it on all my clients and myself and I've never had the issues that they're talking about and if I did it would be because I did it wrong or I didn't do things that needed to be done in formulated by a stylist. Want to read some of them I can tell exactly what they did wrong and I wish I could reply so I could tell them how to fix it. But I love Pravana vivids I love David everlastings I love all of that, my new thing trying out is the pastel potion so I will write a new review and I figure out how to make that perfect also. Pravda is the best!

Reading some of these comments is making me sad

I used Vivids Everlasting ALL THE TIME!! Being able to use them on their own or mixed with Chromasilk to create custom one of a kind shades has upped my color game 10 fold!

As a hairstylist for 28 years, I rarely get surprised. I've used Pravana on many clients and have always loved how true to tone and predictable the colors are…until this weekend. I had a new client who wanted a plum/deep purple baylaage on her level 3 hair. I prelightened and was so excited to see Violet Reign on her hair. After processing, all of her hair was black. Jet black and not a bit of purple to be seen even in the sunlight. She was a good enough sport about it but I couldn't charge her since it wasn't what she'd asked for  I've booked her again and will have to find another product that'll give us purple results. To say that we were both disappointed would be putting it mildly. I hate that the first impression she has of me was this. Coming here are reading that others have experienced the same thing at least lets me know that I'm not crazy. Don't buy this if you actually want purple/plum color.

Violet Reign is really black

This turned out to be an old bootlegged product you would normally need a license to purchase. It came out white and rusty/moldy and did never turned purple. Extremely disappointed.

I bought the violet reign because it was supposed to be a "darker purple but still very much purple color, instead it is almost black with a slight purple hue to it. I will never buy from this company again I always have issues with the colors!
