I luv that its the complete kit, with cap, tool for pulling hair thru cap.. powdered bleach not the cream one and it takes less than 30 minutes to get my hair changed to the blonde i wanted! Also, reading the instructions.. it gives you like 
3 DIFFERENT OPTIONS TO PICK FROM when deciding the style of highlights u desire..

I have used this highlighting kit many times, and I am always very happy with the results. I have used it with and without the cap, and I get great looking highlights both ways. And its not so harsh on your hair. It actually leaves mine feeling softer and in better condition than before I use it. I highly recommend this kit for at home, beautiful, sunkissed highlights in your light blonde to medium brown hair.

Tried this to add highlights to my dark blonde hair. I use another brand usually but just wanted to try another; wish I hadn't. This doesn't get my hair that blonde. Had a lot of orange tones. It worked fast, could see my hair change right away but just didn't developed it was much as I wanted. My hair is usually really good at taking on hair dye so I was surprised it didn't work well. It doesn't come with a real toner which is a downer. Had to get a super strong purple shampoo to help make the orange less obvious. Just buy the cheaper revlon kit!

The cap that comes with this is very small. I couldn't get it on my head. (It fit my nine year old daughter perfectly.) When I did use the bleach mixture with a cap from Sally Beauty it worked just fine. When I had used this product years ago it came with gloves and toning shampoo, it no longer does. Therefore I needed to buy gloves and toning shampoo separately. I'd recommend just going to Sally Beauty and buying what you need there. It's much more cost effective and their caps actually fit adult heads.

Overall Disappointment

the cap ripped very easily and the pic to pull your hair through the holes was so flimsy the quality of the brand has gone down and the prices have gone up this has got to stop it's getting uncalled for I'm tired of paying for your quality if it's not going to be good quality

Where did the Clairol highlighting kit go?    I had been using it forever.  Tried the frost and tip kit and it was AWFUL.  I've cried every day since trying it   Left the texture of hair gummy and stringy. Not to mention not a highlighter at all. Don't lose a thirty-year customer Clairol, bring back a great highlighting kit     Quick please.

Awful

Cheap cap and cheap plastic hook. Couldn't pull hair thru holes and not able to frost my hair, threw it in the garbage and bought a different brand kit.

Poor quality, don't waste your time

The only thing that was in the box was the cap. Someone had stole the items out of the package and Walmart didn't even bother to check it before they mailed it
