I purchased this for my brother who became unable to hear on his previous phone which had a 3 step loudness adjustment. Now he hears every time and there is still room for more adjustment. I am especially impressed with the quality of the sound when amplified, both incoming and outgoing. Others have commented on the good quality of the outgoing sound. The broad range of adjustment is good for both voice and the ringer. The adjustment for tone is also helpful for hearing. We just have basic phone service and have not tried other features.

Perfect for my 91 yr old Mom.  She has severe hearing loss & poor vision. She can hear better with this phone than her hearing  aids.  The flashing lights are easy for her to see when someone's calling.

Clarity Alto Plus

Bought this for my parents. My mother is legally blind but she can see the button for the speaker phone. She also has a hearing problem but no problem with this phone. Wish I had bought it a long time ago

Great phone for the elderly!

This phone delivers more sound without distortion than other any phone I've tried for my elderly mother with profound hearing loss.  I hope it holds up.  The last two Clarity phones she had broke down and had to be replaced after about a year.  Its doing the job, so for now, it's the best choice.

Good quality

I bought this phone for my mom who is very hard of hearing.  I love the feature to control the volume (higher) and the clarity of the phone.  It was the best purchase decision I made for both my mom and the family.

My brother who is the user says that fully participating in phone calls had been much easier with his new phone. I have reduced my overall evaluation by one star as the first unit delivered had a defective display. To the company's credit, they immediately sent a replacement without waiting to receive the defective unit.

Help for the hard of hearing user

Could be my hearing aids but on speaker the amplified sound seems distorted.  Not a problem with my last speaker phone with inadequate amplification.

Loud but maybe not clear

Was supposed to be able to wall mount it but could not mount this one. Also wish we had realized that we would not like the color of this phone. My wife says it is ugly
