AMACO-Claycrete Instant Papier Mache mixes with water and is ready for use immediately.  Starts to set up in about 30 minutes, at which time fine modeling and smoothing of the surface is easily achieved.  Additions may be added any time during the modeling process Will not stick to your hands or tools, making it exceptionally easy to work with.  Pure white, dries white.  Made in US.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was perfect for my needs! i really enjoyed using it. The texture is perfect. No more blending paper myself. All the steps it would take me to get to that point that its so perfect for making my seed cards! sifted out of the water so good they came out great. The finished product was good enough to pass out as christmas card that i stamped the words on and now they can plant the card so essentially recycling the paper pulp!

Easy to use works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was not like the old school paper mache. This was a crumbly paper clay that was difficult to cover a balloon and other forms. Strips of torn paper wrapped around objects was not possible as this was a modeling gunk. If the purpose was to model like clay, it would be ok, I guess.  Extremely crumbly and messy. I wanted my grandsons to enjoy the process of wrapping, drying and decorating. With paint and tissue paper. Label is misleading. "Projects"were tossed.
