Pine straw mulch is perfect for our vegetable garden. It is lightweight, easy to move when planting, it doesn't raise the pH, it is beautiful, and it surprisingly stays in place even on very windy days. It is our favorite mulch to use! Very glad we tried it. :)

When bailing it gets an occasional crushed  pinecone and some small branch parts..One bail has a crushed platic water bottle in it! You still get alot of quality pine needles. Will buy again. It is a little hard to separate because it is compacted into bales.. just an FYI.

I use this as bedding in the feral cat house. It's clean and tidy. I also found a few small branches, but they didn't bother me.

The pine straw is not easy to navigate out of the bag or to spread. It has a good color with some dust in the bottom of the bag.

Name is misleading, it's not clean straw. There are sticks in this product. The straw is not as compacted as comparable brands, meaning you get less straw. In my opinion, Vigoro is the better product. There are sticks in it as well, but more compacted (more product), color looks better, and the cost is lower.

These rectangular  pine needle had a lot of pine cones in the middle of the cube that was taking up room for more needles! So these are a  misrepresentation  of the amount  of “needles” I was buying county!
I thought I was buying needles NOT pine cones for my landscape !👎

the pine straw i received was ROTTEN!!! The bag had been wet for who knows how long and it smelled TERRIBLY!🤮🤢🤮 LESSON WELL LEARNED! I WILL GO TO TRACTOR SUPPLY OR LOWES FROM NOW ON WHEN IT COMES TO ITEMS LIKE THIS!!!
