Carpet

This mat is made of polycarbonate instead of the regular plastic. It is much harder and will not bend as easily. Compared to a mat I had from Costco, this mat will not create sink spots whenever you sit on your chair for a long time, making it easier to move around. I have 1/2" carpet and it is great for those who wants to spend the extra money to get more out of their mat.

Arrived as promised.  This mat is very stout....best I have ever purchased.  Laid flat almost immediately, unlike others in past that tended to curl up on edges.   Quality product.  Highly recommend.

Awesome mat

This is the best chair mat I've seen or used. It's lightweight and thin, however the chair wheels do not “sink in”.  The key to this is that it is made of polycarbonate. It does not move on the carpet at all. Perfect.

Thick and solid, your chair rollers do not sink in as with cheaper mats.  Should last a long time.

Worth the money

OK overall.  Seems to function as advertised.  Surface has a fine pebble-like texture and doesn't dimple.  It fits snuggly between my desk and credenza on medium pile carpet.  Unhappily, it creeps with only limited amount of chair movement and bows up against the furniture creating a safety hazard and some level of annoyance.  I have to re-position it quite frequently.  Irritating.  Guess I should have read more reviews.

Good news, bad news...

This is the best desk mat ever.  Does not dimple and is easy to get back on when you roll off.

very favorable

The chair mat started showing cracks 6 months after purchase. It is no longer usable 1 yr after purchase. Lifetime warranty is non existent. Do not waste your money. It will not last you more than a year. You are really just renting a floor mat for 10$ a month until you are required to purchase a new one next year.
