stop looking for any other chair floor mat on the market. this is exactly what you are going to want if you have nice hardwood floors and want to keep chair casters from leaving marks on them. I usually wait one month before I review any product but there was no sense in waiting a month to review this chair m a t. immediately after laying it down I saw that it was the perfect product. as other reviewers have noted the mat immediately lays flat even after being shipped rolled. the chair rolled effortlessly but had enough resistance on the mats surface to allow a chair from banging into the wall. the wood beauty shows through the mat and quite honestly is very unnoticeable when you walk in the room. in summary quit looking for other alternatives this is the chair mat solution you have been looking for

This is a great product at a great price. Lays perfectly flat right out of the carton, chair glides easily, no indentations from chair. This is also the only place I could find a 48x48 mat which is perfect in my office setting. Arrived within 3 days of order.
