I have a huge closet, but the rod where I hang my clothes must have been hung by a giant! I have to stretch and stand on my tippy toes to hang my clothes up. Man, did this "Closet Doubler" save the day!! The only reason I didn't give the "meets expectations" 5 stars is because it need to be just 2" longer. My longer tops fit fine, with room to spare, but the upper part leaves my tops laying on the lower bar. (even my tanks/chemise's). You can't even tell the extension is there. Open the package, hang the vertical bars, then hang the horizontal bar. It's totally versatile too. You can hang the horizontal bar up higher for smaller or kids clothes I love it and highly reccomend it! I'm going to be ordering another one.!!

Some of the reviews mention that you can not use this in an adult closet/adult clothes. However, if you hang the bar at the lowest possible level you can use this in an adult (female) closet. I hung this up under my long sleeve shirts, and I use my short sleeve shirts for the bottom "doubler" part. Most of my long sleeve shirts sit right on the bar or overlap. I am not worried about the overlap the clothes are still easy to get to. The overlap is worth the ability to hang more clothes. My clothes to not touch the floor for the doubler part. So I am happy. This would be PERFECT for children's clothing (I do not have children yet). But it works well for adult clothing, especially since it was less than $7. I am perfectly happy.

Good item, Great price

This closet doubler is really great!  Easy to assemble, not the best option for a closet, but for the price it's awesome!  I used one in my closet and most of my shirts drape down over it, but if it was any lower, the bottom shirts would be touching the floor.  It gave me a whole lot more space!  I also have used one for my 6 year old's closet.  The bar was way too high and this makes it easy for her to access.  Overall good buy!

Perfect for my daughters small closet.. it maximizes the space..my daughter love that she can now pick what clothes she wants to wear coz i put the dresses and light jackets at the bottom part..

The Closet Doubler was larger than I thought. I was able to put my blazers and skirts on the bottom and shirts on top. There was enough space for some of my husbands shire as well.

We just downsized to a one bed condo with ONE closet....YIKES! My new closet doublers (bought 2) have saved my sanity! The only other alternative was an expensive revamping of my closet! I have done the same for around $15.00! THANX WALMART!!!!

GOOD RESULT!

i read the reviews before buying and most people were using this for children's closets/clothes. i'm and adult and needed more closet room, and this item works just fine. some of my longer tops/pants do touch the floor, but that isn't a big enough deal to dislike the product. it hangs securely and has lots of slots for hangers and additional clothing, and the price was great. it has relieved the stress on my clothing bar and added much more room for me to hang clothes

My wife and i have "LOTS" of clothes, well mostly my wife, it was like magic ! it more then double the room in are closet, I have just order them for the kids, these even have side hooks for belts and bags, you can move them higher or lower for pants and dresses...

It makes an additional level of hanging space, for shirts and slacks folded in half over the hanger.  It was smaller than I expected, but functional.

This really solved my problem to having more room for clothes. It was a great find. I learned you having this item threw my daughter having them in her home. Please keep them available. I might need another set.

Closet doublers

I should of really researched this product. My shirts are too long and will drag on the floor if I put something on the top. This is more for kids clothes. Not useful to me at all.
