My favorite hair tonic

I am a barber and I use tonic to finish every haircut. We have used another product for a long time. I bought this one and the customers love it. Definitely will be on my back bar for good.

Love this product.

I bought this stuff out of curiosity. Never heard of a hair tonic before, and wasn't exactly sure what it was supposed to do. Basically - it's like an after-shave for your head.

The smell is wonderful - like a sweet refreshing orange, very realistic and not too fruity. The smell is pretty mild and doesn't last long - dies down within 10 minutes or so. This is not a cologne and not designed to act as a perfume in any way.

Other than that, I think it is predominantly alcohol based, so it provides a similar effect to after-shave on your scalp. It's especially nice if you have short hair, or around the ears and neck, where you can get a little bit of that tingling effect on the skin.

I wouldn't say it affects my hair in any way. Splash a little on before combing your hair - it works about the same as putting water in your hair (plus the smell and tingling effect). It dries pretty quickly and does not hold my hair in any way.

Overall, it's a nice little treat, but I wouldn't say it does anything special. It does what it says on the tin - which is stimulate your scalp.

I love this stuff. After a shower I have big hair. This keep my hair in place without being over oily. I definitely recommend it. The scent is light and not over-powering.

Best Hair Tonic There Is

Light scent of citrus and a light hold. 
This just relaxes bed head so you can comb and skip a shower if needed. 
Lightest hold of all the tonics!

Like nothing is in your hair...!

Powerful scent at first that disappear quickly. Not really for me, it does seem to leave my hair a little more "oily" by the end of the day unlike the other products. The hair feels nice most of the day and stays in place without being rigid.

A great scent for the morning
