Sometimes you have to lie to get to the truth in the Clue Liars Edition board game in which players use Investigation cards (there are 6 Lie cards and 6 Truth cards) to help them figure out who killed Mr. Boddy in the mansion. Players pick a card and read it out loud, trying to play it cool and convince other players that they're telling the truth …even if they're not. If a player suspects they're lying they can call that player out by hitting the Liar Button. Were they caught lying or were they telling the truth? Either way, an Evidence card is revealed and players move one step closer to cracking the case. When a player is ready to make an accusation, they secretly look at the cards placed inside the case file envelope to reveal Who, What, and Where. A correct accusation wins the game! My Daughter Was Looking Forward To Playing This Game With Her Two Son's. But When They All Tried To Play It, It Turned Out To Be A Little Too Difficult For the Boy's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clue brings me back to my happy place!  I loved playing as a kid and now enjoy playing with my own kids.  This version has an interesting twist that gets you lying and the other players have to figure out if you are telling the truth or not.  The other thing that is great about this edition is there is no hallway to wander around in.  Every turn you just get to move from room to room which speeds up the game play a ton.

If you like clue, you'll like this edition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love clue in our family amd we really wanted to like this new version.  unfortunately the premise just didn't work well.  Not having the choice to lie actually hampers the game.  Does play faster which is a plus.

The original clue game is better. This has a silly add on that got annoying after the first go around.
