I'm very pleased with the G55!  I received the G55 as a replacement for a G50 that had stopped working.  Thank you very much Coast!......for standing behind your product.  I work industrial maintenance and the G55 is an excellent flash light, as was the G50,  perfect for the job!  I use it many times on a daily basis.  I've been using Coast flashlights for several years now and most definitely recommend them.

I filled out the claim form and my flashlight was replaced with a brand new one. (Latest model, same size). Now that is standing behind your product and lifetime warranty. Could not be more pleased. Thank you Coast.

Very compact, handy and powerful. I would like to be able to adjust the beam to a more focused beam, for distant subjects.

Great little flashlight. This was a replacement for one that wouldn't work. Well made. I use it when I walk my dog, especially in the winter in Ontario.Sheds light two ways. I like the “Bullseye” position during my walks. My son uses the “Flood” view when he BBQs at night. Very bright and focused. Highly recommend. Customer service is second to none. Replaced my G56 - No questions asked and at no extra cost to me. Well done Coach!

Flashlight Replacement

A changeable focus beam of light which is changed by rotating the front part of the tube. Overall length varies between 5.25" and 5.5" which is great for my applications. The only thing I don't like about the rotating tube is the looseness of the tube in between 5.25" and 5.5" created by a larger tolerance in the threads, verses having a sliding adjustment.

GG 55 is a great flashlight are used it and believe it or not I actually broke it dropping it dropped it several times On the concrete and it still worked lying underneath the car working and then I dropped it on carpet and then the light would not come on I emailed them and they gladly send me another one standing by their lifetime guarantee I was very impressed with them and their products bought A couple more light since then

Product guarantee

For the most part it's a good light,  the weight the feel and handling is  great.  The recharge application is a little cumbersome. Take the back end off take out the battery with built in c port on it.. now you have three loose pieces to deal with... also the battery life doesn't seem to be adequate. It's better on low setting but not that impressive.

Battery life

I purchased this about a year ago based off of a friends recommendation. It burns through batteries like nothing I have ever witnessed before. I will admit it has an amazing light...for about 3 minutes, then you need new batteries. Tonight I dropped it from about three feet, max. It now will not turn on. I did try to get a refund after purchasing it and realizing I would need own a battery company to make this a reasonable expense, but due to no receipt (going through nasty divorce and having my belongings stolen) I was not able to return.
