Great vehicle & travel flashlight! Professional grade light. Fits comfortably in hand, bright adjustable width beam, rechargeable USB connection on flashlight great for vehicle storage & travel. USB rechargeable battery, backup AAA battery pack. Also bought a spare USB battery pack. Can charge light from spare iPhone battery pack. Picked orange so I can find it easier, I bought 6 of these to standardize vehicles emergency gear & travel packs, it's worth it .Comes with usb 12vdc & 120vac chargers, with nice long usb micro cable. Wishlist: an attachment point for a lanyard, optional set of pouch for spares packs, a belt case for flashlight. It fits in std pouches, so no big deal, but neatness helps to ensure completeness of necessary pieces.

Outstanding!

I bought this flashlight to keep in my motorcycle saddlebag.  I had previously purchased the same flashlight in the 4 colors to give to my family to keep in their cars.  I have been replacing my regular flashlights with rechargeable flashlights for the convenience that they provide.  The lights case is extremely durable, well sized, and balanced perfectly.  The adjustable beam works great and the focused beam pattern is precise.   I would highly recommend this flashlight to anyone that needs a powerful flashlight for a great price.

The Price Is Right

The size of this flashlight is perfect for casual use. The light output is great and the battery life is good. I bought this to replace the PX1R that I lost and I'm disappointed that you can no longer charge  the battery with it in the light. That was very efficient considering I use the flashlight every night in the fall and winter walking my dog. Taking the battery out to charge is unnecessary and inconvenient. I also really liked the green color that's not offered anymore. It made the light easier to find in the drawer.

Great size and great light, Miss my old PX1R

I received this product on 2/25, and had high hopes for it. The light worked well for my purposes.at first but then the on/off button stopped working on 4/4, so it's absolutely worthless at this point.

Buyer Beware

The seller advertises this as the newer 1000lm PX1R. This is the old version of the PX1R that is only 460lm. Do not buy this if you are hoping to get the 1000lm model.

I've done a lot of maintenance work and the PX 1R is one of the nicest little pocket size lights I've ever used. Small enough for your pocket but does a big job.

Tall Paul

I have been a fan of Coast products since the 90's. However, I'm slowly changing my mind about their products.
I had an older light that I replaced with a PX1R Orange colored one. My old one was 10 years old. and it just stopped working. This new Orange px1r was only a few months old when it stopped working. I filed a waranty claim on it, and Coast honored that. However they sent something completely different. This one was black, not orange. This one does not have the rechargable battery unit. This one did not have the charge in case option either. They told me that they no longer make the orange one. That was the one I had picked out because of those features.
This new light is ok. But not nearly as nice as the orange one I had.
