My COAST HP550 flashlight had an issue with the battery compartment. There was no way it could be used again after that. I absolutely loved that flashlight. After having it for about four years, I contacted COAST about it. Apparently it was an issue they were famiar with. They didn't hesitate to send me a replacement. They sent the G450. It is an awesome flashlight. Just as good as the HP550. And I am so pleased that they would honor my original purchase of their product after the amount of time I had it. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another COAST product in the future.

I use alot of flashlights both on the job and off but I have found that Coast lights tend to be the most financially reliable.  I have relied on my H550 to get through many a tough call but now my G450 is even better with higher lumens and longer battery life I am impressed.  I totally recomend these flashlights for what ever job your doing that needs a brighter touch.

Mainstay workhorse

I don't think there is a better flashlight brand out there.  Easy to use, durable, bright.  Some folks might say, "Hey, it's just a flashlight ," until they need their cheapy in the glove box to work in the middle of the night on a dark roadside and it doesn't!  If you need a dependable, durable flashlight for those times when it just has to work, look no further.  Also, being American-made is a plus, too!

GREAT FLASHLIGHT!!!

It's a very compact light with a very bright white beam that's adjustable from flood to spot. The only thing that would make it better is a rechargeable battery pack.

Great light for the price

I received this G450 as a replacement on a warranty claim on a HP550 which was discontinued, the G450 is about 400 lumens brighter than the HP550, warranty claim was very simple and stress free customer service was outstanding and I received my replacement in a eek or less

This is the best flashlight I have ever owned.  Extremely bright, it is versatile and very user friendly.  I purchased this light because my older lights had worn our or just quit working and I already owned a Coast PX45 which I really like and I have not been disappointed.  If you need a very bright and dependable flashlight, the G450 is the ticket.  I highly recommend.

Absolutely Great Light

Coast is hands down the best light company out there. I have 4 of there lights and love every one of them. They are strong, bright and well made. I am an aircraft Mechanic so I use a light more than any other tool. This flashlight gives me all the light in the world! 10/10 recommend!

Coast is the best!

The first one I bought kinda failed… it was like you couldn't change the batteries so the company helped me get a replacement. The replacement arrived in a box in December. So I wrapped it and put it under the tree. To the whole family. I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Santa's watching

Very good value for cost:flashlight has good heft: good illumination as both spot and flood light: can take quite a bit of abuse during use. Very comfortable grip, location of on/off switch recessed to avoid any possibility of accidentally turning flashlight either on or off. Exceptionally good value.

This flashlight ROCKS!!

So far so good my new g450 is ridiculously bright which is always a plus and uses less battery then the hp450 I had before it and it got here in just a few days #COAST4LIFE

Coast Expert

This was replacement for the HP550. The battery pack froze up in that flashlight. So I get sent a replacement G450 and guess what the battery pack was all corroded when I went to get it out. If I hadn't checked it.....it would have been same situation as old HP550. Not sure if a design flaw in these flashlights, but I'm done with coast. I was a firm believer they were the best flashlight.....not so much anymore!!
