I bought two of the pot holders.  As mentioned, on the earlier reviews it's about 7.5 inches instead of 8 inches.  Shipment arrived quite fast.   The items came in a big thick box with no bubble wrap but undamaged.  I paid double the shipping cost but items came in a same box, just wondering if it were to come in a smaller box, wll it reduce the shipping cost??

I ordered 5 for my front porch. These holders are very sturdy and look good. The adjustment for rail size works well. However, the actual inner measurement is about 7 1/2". My pots bottoms are that and would not fit. I returned these and ordered the 10" which worked great.

very nice, but not quite 8"

It does the job that I purchased it for, but I wish it adjusted to an even smaller size than it allows, as my rail is thinner than the smallest adjustable size, so it leans over to the front a little bit.

Definitely does the job

By the time the pot holder got to my house it had been crushed almost flat.  Completely useless. I plan to try
