Value For Money

I am glad it is so easy to order this product when stores pull it too soon. Mosquitos have been bad this year and these coils along with Citronella oil keeps them at bay. Quick delivery to my local store saved our outside life. Thanks !

Walmart to the Rescue

walmart.com

Since WM has quit selling these in the store, I have to get them online now.

I keep them in a plastic coffee can, along with...lighters, clothespins, and candles.

Mosquitoes are really bad here, so I snap a few pieces off and place them around in the clothespins. The center piece goes into one of the included holders.

If you light a candle, you can light them all much easier than wasting matches or lighters.

The smell is not overpowering at all, unless you are right into the smoke.

They last much longer than the stakes, too.

If you go in before they burn out, you can just roll the head off, then put it away for next time. So easy.

Great Price. Long Lasting. Better Than the Sticks!

Was DESPERATELY looking for SOMEthing to repel the swarms of mosquitoes that plague me and my dog as soon as I walk out the door - we can't even work in my little garden or sit out on my patio, without being feasted on by these dreadful things! I didn't want a stinky, sticky spray that I had to spray on EVERY time I went outside (which is every day) and I wanted something affordable that I could use on a daily basis... Really just wanted something so me, the dog, and whoever came over could hang out outside on our patio in peace! Did a google search to see what works these days, because I know there's a lot of new products out on the market...thought I would give these a try...at my WalMart on Glenside & Forest, these were only .97 - I thought that for a dollar, why not? I originally wanted the Coleman brand, but my store was out of them ,so this was all I could find... I checked the insecticide content on these and it was the same as the Coleman brand, so I thought 'why not'? Got home, put these out, while I was getting them lit, I got 5 bites from the mosquitoes in the very short amount of time it took to get these out of the package and get them set up and lit! I am extremely allergic to mosquito bites, so I was quickly getting these things set up...I lit them and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of smoke, the smell was not that strong - it was even better than I expected! Reading some other reviews on burning mosquito coils, I was prepared for a lot of smoke, a strong smell, and they probably wouldn't last long...and I couldn't have been more wrong or pleasantly surprised! These burn like incense sticks - not a lot of smoke, no real unpleasant odor, and they last for HOURS! I lit 2 coils - 1 on opposite corners of my little 8' x 10' patio, ran back inside to get my dinner ready to bring out side to sit and eat...and not even 10 minutes later, NO bugs!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I am a believer now! I am going back to the store today to buy the rest of what they have left on the shelf, because there's not much left in the outdoor department - I guess other people have found out the beauty of these things too! FYI - there's a TON of citronella candles and the like, and the tiki torches and bug fuel, and the off clip on things, but only a handful of these - all the others are gone! I highly recommend!!! A+++ Definitely worth a try and SO worth the money - even if they weren't just a $1! :-)

Didn't have a lot of hope but LOVED!

didnt have any problem with mosquitos and there was no stench..worked well and long lasting.

mosquito coils

This product really works. It's a life saver, making back yards comfortable here for as long as I can remember.

Mosquitoes Gone

the best product .it works perfectly .keeps mosquitoes away from biting my family .better than other expensive products I had purchased from other sources.

coghlans mosquito coils

I live aboard a sailboat in North Florida. I've used these things for years! They work for mosquitoes and Noseeums! Light one in the open hatch and, poof, no bugs in the boat for hours!

awesome stuff!

I never got bit once with these coils; and they don't make you want to cough and they don't smell bad....great value and quality for this type of product

Mosquito Coils

Quick delivery

The coils come stuck in a pair are very hard to pull apart. They usually break and the broken pieces can't be used. That also makes it hard for them to stay on the stand. I don't recommend this product unless you're extremely patient and have a delicate touch.

Very hard to pull apart

Not effective at all, mosquitos keep coming. I finally tried lighting up two at the same time and keep right at my feet and a mosquito bit me 2 minutes later.
The other brand coils were much more effective, kept mosquitos at bay all the time. Unfortunately, there were only Coghlan's on my local Walmart's shelves this time. I will neve buy Coghlan's coils again!

Absolutely useless!
