I bought this after the last 5 day power outage. We have a hotplate that runs on a generator and is good for many things but not for cooking on a skillet. The Coleman burns with a flame and is big enough to hold a frying pan for cooking eggs, hamburgs, etc.

Good for power outages.

This little stove worked great for our morning coffee and late night cocoa when were camping! It was very easy to set up and easy to clean up and put away after each use! It brought water to a quick boil making our wait for warm drinks on a cool morning camping that much more accessible! 2cans of propane lasted us a week camping with multiple uses each day! Walmart carries the fuel (butane) as well making this purchase very easy to manage and continue to use! Its quickly become one of our favorite camping tools for everyday use!

Easy camping stove and cost effective!

In this time of Covid 19, none of the 1lb propane bottles are available anywhere  but butane is. Used it several times so far very easy to instal butane bottle, Piezo igniter has worked on first try. Boils water very fast. Weight, size, easy to clean. I'd give it 10 of 10 stars. Butane 8.8 oz bottles are available practically any Walmart

I love it.  It was so great to be able to actually cook while I was tent camping.  It has a cheap feel to it, but it works great.  Very lightweight and easy to set up.

I love it!

This is a wonderful invention. When the power goes out due to a storm, or to use on a camping trip, or just a road trip, you can have hot food. Highly recommend.

Decent for the price

I bought this butane burner for occasional camping, but primarily for outdoor cooking at home on my deck (to replace a worn-out propane camping stove). It fits those needs well, it's small size (and easy operation) means you can use it anywhere outside...The only drawbacks are that the burner area is smaller (when compared to a larger propane stove), so it can only handle a small skillet or pan (6 "to 9" in circumference at most). Butane cartridges are more expensive than propane stove canisters (in the $9 to $12 range, depending on where you buy them), but it seems to use less fuel than a propane stove does, so I expect the operating costs to be very similar the propane stove. The heat output and cooking quality are just as good as propane so far; and it comes with a nice storage case to prolong the stove life when not in use...It's a savvy purchase if you are someone who prefers cooking outdoors :)

Versatile product at a good price...

I'd know how it works if Wal Mart would have sent my butane I bought at the same time I bought this instead of putting a week hold on the butane order then cancled it to where I had to go in only to find that No one has butane !

Butane shortage has me unable to use this
