I love Coleman products I've been using them the majority of my life I don't camp quite as much as I used to but I still use your products. Probably about 28 years ago I bought a Coleman windbreaker came in a little pouch that would fit in the palm of your hand about two years ago I just got rid of it. It was just too worn out anymore and I cannot find another one to replace it and so that makes me sad.

For camping: Definitely lasts multiple days for 2-3 persons if you follow a few simple tips: Freeze gel packs (not ice) at your freezer's lowest setting, Freeze or refrigerate all food and drinks, Pre-cool the cooler for hours before loading, Load just before you leave, Keep the cooler covered or out of the sun. That's it -- lasted 5 days for us and everything was cold. Excellent quality cooler.

Definitely lasts multiple days

This cooler is a good size for two people to camp for a few days.  The 52 Qt. container is a bit heavier than a 48 Qt. size, but the depth is perfect.  We use 1 Qt. juice bottles with frozen water as our cooling source.  The depth of the cooler allowed us to put in 4 bottles of frozen water and 1- 10 oz. bottle (for a plastic tray we had for our fruit). After a 2 night trip when the day temps were in the mid to upper 80s and nights in the 60s, we found that all four large bottles had a chunk of ice.  We could have done another night without buying more ice.
I like the fact that the hinges are made of metal, not plastic which will make the cooler last longer.

Perfect for 2 people to camp!

This Coleman is perfect for what I need, like the light weight and size.  I do wish Coleman would up grade this to a Garden Hose drain that wedge plug is unreliable gets bumped and starts to leak without you knowing until you discover water is drained where its unwanted.

52 quart marine cooler

The perfect size for 2-3 people for a weekend long camp trip. My only complaint is that the lid doesn't snap closed like with some other models but that hasn't been an issue for us (could become one if it's not strapped down well enough, though, and melty ice is sloshing around - just keep that in mind). We bought it on sale and with the price, it was definitely a great buy!

I purchased this for my boat to go under the seat. But on the website it said this cooler was 16.25 inches tall but when I got it its 17" tall and it will not fit. Now I need to just get rid of it because its useless to me. Please do a better job on your description Coleman.

Wrong size

it is what it is, for an under $30 cooler. doesn't leak, but is not something you would use to deliver a living heart across the country. its not a high end no air and leak proof cooler. don't be fooled by all the reviews either. 90% are paid promotions, not actual reviews.

average for the price

Deceptive marketing doesn't include photos of the cheap plastic hinges which are going to last about five minutes. The rest of the cooler actually looks well made. Yet another manufacturer couldn't resist making a stupid design decision that ruins an otherwise good product.

Cheap plastic at critical failure point

The hinges displayed in the photograph are not the same as the hinges on the cooler that was received. The photograph of the family on the beach shows that it has the solid hinge that stays open super easy but what I actually received was those flimsy plastic hinges that are easy to replace because they're held on with screws. However, the cooler doesn't stay open in a neutral position. It automatically falls close.

Bait and Switch

Normally I purchase cheap coolers but I decided to splurge a little and get a Coleman I have to say I'm a little disappointed and kind of regretting that decision now. The cooler doesn't stay cool and my ice is melting way too fast. Not sure if it's defective or just not great but I wouldn't recommend it.
