About Coleman More than 100 years ago a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman and the company he founded would change life in America. Great cot.  I have looked for military cots and have found new ones but for the price, could never get my self to buy it.  This is exactly like what I had when I was in the Marines (2007 to 2017).  It folds up to a compact size, is the durable nylon material, and has a nice transporting bag.   What makes this slightly better than the military ones, the end poles (used to stretch the cot tight) are slightly longer on one end to help you get leverage to pull it.   The military cots were such a pain to achieve this that we often only ever used one end pole, but this one I can set up fairly easily.   It's also very sturdy and after using it several times, seems like it will hold up very well over time.  I would recommend this for any camper, or any one needing a spare cot for a guest.

Comparable to my much more expensive Cabella cot. Side bar extremely difficult to get into place until I watch a you tube video. The trick was to stand the cot on the side and use your foot for leverage, after watching video my 13yo daughter could put it together by herself easy peasy. Comfortable with no icky middle bar in your back

Very nice and tight cot.  It's hard to get the last corner set up...need some muscle.. very comfortable and nice.  It's worth the money

Trailhead II Cot

Not a fan of cots, but this is just like the ones used as a child in the 1960's. A lot better than sleeping on the ground. And better than the ones 4-6 inches off the ground.

They are built to last!

After reading many reviews from multiple sites, purchased this cot.  Only hesitation was reports of difficult assembly. First setup took some muscle and leverage to get tension bars at head and foot locked in.  After the initial stretch, assembly was easier and took considerably less effort.  You must be mindful that it a saggy cot is uncomfortable, so the tension is important.
Solid cot with great support provided good rest.  Easier to get up from the ground, and more reliable than an airbed. Frame and materials are sturdy.  Folding design and leg configuration make sense.  Plastic feet have rounded edges that didn't tear-up or scuff tent floor. Fits back in durable, handled storage bag well. I expect to use for many years of camping adventures, and maybe for houseguests instead of couch!

Sleep Well on This Cot!

Solid in Comfort

Easy to put together and was sturdy and comfortable (I forgot my air mattress and this worked just fine alone!) Folds up really small and flat!

Easy breezy!

This cot seems to be of good quality and I found it for a reasonable price.  These are comfortable to sleep on and great to have around for camping or even houseguests.  Assembling the cot at first is quite difficult, I was able to manage it with the help of a youtube video (standing cot on end and stepping on one end of bar to leverage the knob into the bar), but I imagine many people with less physical ability will get frustrated.  I left it assembled for a week and the canvas stretched enough that it was easier to assemble after that.  I would recommond to coleman that they promote that video, leave a link to it, or create their own version

Quality and good price, but tough assembly

Cot was easy to set up, just heavier and bulky to pack. I was hoping to get a wood frame cot, but could not find one. But it was comfortable which was good for my 71 year-old back.

Coleman changed the design to rely on breakable plastic pieces on the ends of the bed, which broke the very first time I tried to set it up. IDIOTS

DON'T BUY !!!
